Trump had the border under the best control in the past 50 years. It was an ongoing process as well. What he passed on regarding Afghanistan was a relatively stable Afghanistan. Trump might have even decided to stay there for a while longer. Hard to say. Since Biden did what he did, we will never know. It is no longer stable.
