full, As I see it, Biden announced the American pullout, about the same time that the President of Afghanistan bugged out with a hundred and fifty million dollars of American money. There is no way the Afghan army was going to continue fighting after hearing these two factors. They simply threw down their weapons and went home. The US had to warp speed its military withdrawal and rescue of the many Afghans that helped us in this the longest war in American history In a couple of weeks, we managed to rescue well over a hundred thousand Afghans they helped us fight the war, and their families to the US and some other countries. That in itself is quite an accomplishment. We didn't stab our friends in the back as Trump did with the Kurds. We took thirteen casualties of young brave American warriors that died trying to help others. What a tragedy. At least President took action, and killed two top Terrorist leaders from ISiS-K, with a promise of more to come.
Were mistakes made, sure. All in all, Biden handled the situation as well as anybody could under the circumstances.

Here's your POS Commander-in-Chief showing how much a scumbag one can be. How you a Biden-lover, such as yourself, can worship such a scumbag me. Watch and then tell me how much you admire this "scum of the earth". https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2021/08/say_it_aint_so_joe.html On second thought, don't tell me because it makes you look like an IDIOT!!!!!!!

The government is not collectively stupid.

This withdrawal plan and its result are by design and is the desired result.
Biden trashed the plans for withdrawal, there was no plan for this, no design, and certainly what we see is not a desired result.

On January 20, 2021, the Coward-in-Chief picked up a pen and a phone and began the process of eliminating, scrubbing, and trashing every one of president Trump's plans, agreements, deals, policies, and accomplishments. Obviously this included his 18 month plan for a staged strategic withdrawal from A-stan that would have gotten everyone and everything American out of there.

Biden is feckless, reckless, and stupid, he ignored his Pentagon and State dept officers who cautioned him about moving too quickly. "Just get it done", he told them.

The logistics involved in evacuating thousands of troops, civilians, contractors, friendly Afghanis and billions of dollars worth of military hardware and ordinance from A-stan is a massive undertaking. President Trump's plan had this covered.

However, when US CentCom received word to move, the Taliban made theirs, and the entire operation went straight to hell. Chaos reigned, people were killed.

Bagram Air Base was supposed to be the main staging base for evacuations and removal of hardware and equipment. The Taliban knew this so Bagram was first on their target list.

Tragically, whoever it was in Biden's circle of jerks that made the call to A-stan failed to inform the commanding officer of Bagram AB. He found out the hard way. The Taliban were already swarming into the base when he realized something had gone terribly wrong.

When Biden became aware - as aware as a demented old fool can be - that he had a major mess on his hands and that they needed to ramp up the evacuations, boots on the ground and State Department officials told him we did not have the resources to immediately evacuate such a massive number of people and equipment, and that it simply was not possible to send enough aircraft and pilots to A-stan.

Biden and his circle of jerks then came up with the brilliant idea of forcing those who wanted out of there to fill out and file an application for evac that would allow officials to vett them and either approve or refuse evac. As if the only remaining airport in A-stan was business as usual in which travelers must pass through customs.

The US DOES NOT have "unlimited resources" and Biden's admin is "collectively stupid".

Don't try to sugar coat it. This was the worst handling of a foreign situation in decades. And on top of that, we gave $80 B in weaponry and equipment to a terrorist organization. You Biden-lovers like to paint a pretty picture. There is nothing close to pretty about it. Now we're having to kowtow to the real bad guys. How sad. How embarrassing. "Biden handled it the best he could"? is just Democrat bullshit...and the American electorate know it.

Exactly. And then he's going to make a list why Biden is a better choice. He'll say Trump lied a thousand times, but can't specifically name 10. Or he broke a dozen promises, but can't name ONE. Everybody knows Biden is the biggest liar in politics today, wants to kill the unborn, raise taxes, I guess to pay for the $80 B in military weaponry he left behind. In A-stan. Higher gas prices, lumber, groceries. Not interested in his phony list.

I like Laura Ingraham's quote. I wish I could pull it up. "Somebody needs to open an investigation into the Democrat Party to see if they have any ties to America" ~ so spot on. And it makes you wonder

What is behind this apparent lack of action to safely extricate our citizens from this craphole?

Why were all these citizens still in Afghanistan? Certainly not there on vacation.

We see/hear little other than speculation.

Actually, I think he did "handle it the best he could". Even Jimmie Carter would probably have done better.
