With seething anger, I am watching Joe "COVID ALL THE TIME" Biden self aggrandizing on his handling of his disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal in a worldwide press conference. In full arrogance and a veiled attempt to "sound resolute", COVID Joe congratulated himself, with a steely gaze and a pointed finger (at us) I am sure I fell down the rabbit hole (accidentally); up is down, right is wrong, the Mad Hater scurrying around mumbling to himself. But I digress...
My main emotion, witnessing this shit show, is the contempt COVID Joe has for the American people.
COVID Joe rewrote history extolling his exquisite performance, conveniently ignoring these facts:
1) 13 US Marines were executed BECAUSE of COVID Joe's imbecilic policy of immediate withdrawal all the while informing the Taliban of every move.
2) At least 30,000 Afghans were rushed to America without positive identification, with less personal information than is required to buy tires in America.
3) over $900 million in advanced US Weapons Systems were left intact, without disabling ANY operating systems, keys left in Humvees, ammunition (estimated at 1.4 MILLION ROUNDS), Apache Attack Helicopters (that the Taliban immediately used as a photo op) flying through the air with and Afghan interpreter hanging by his neck.
4) COVID Joe IMMEDIATELY told his State Dept that NO PRIVATE rescue efforts would be allowed, stopping Operation Pineapple (a retired Special Ops officer) plan that was saving Afghan Special Ops soldiers, their families, and allies; Glenn Beck's privately funded private jets that saved over 2,000 "high risk" citizens that would have been tortured and executed; and at least 3 other programs that had been initiated by private groups outside of the US State Dept.
5) COVID Joe made NO MENTION of his impatience at the arrival of the dead US Marine Warriors at Andrews Air Force Base, continually checking his watch with petulance. No explanations or APOLOGIES.
6) COVID Joe also made no mention that Communist China has been negotiating with the Taliban since HIS election (and Trump's departure) for precious metals, an economic presence and NOW have access to all of the US Military's advanced weapon systems to evaluate and retro engineering capabilities.

But? COVID Joe DID claim he kept his promise; to end a war that has gone on for way too long by his "dynamic" leadership (after all it was all Trump's fault) and AMERICA was NOW SAFER because of his (COVID Joe's) determination, fearless mindset, and fierce demeanor. I'm not kidding, COVID Joe actually said AMERICA IS NOW SAFER!!!! Geez....
He also predictably talked about this son Beau, an actual sad circumstance, but didn't mention superstar Hunter.
And finally, in a moment that actually shocked me (and trust me, my cynicism is secure) COVID Joe stared at the camera, and stated, "All of you Taliban will be hunted down and pay the ultimate price". Seriously COVID Joe? You abandoned Bagram AFB and the prison that held 4,500 of the most dangerous terrorists.

Seriously, we cannot take any more; America is on the ropes, the enemy is through the gates and breeched the walls. This is our "ALAMO"...
Enemies? It is easy to identify COVID Joe, his handlers, cronies...
But? COVID Joe is only in power because of YOU AMERICANS that voted for him.
You are cowards, your hatred of TRUMP does NOT justify your unconsciable actions. You sold your souls for $1,300 recovery checks while THEY TOOK YOUR JOBS, YOUR BUSINESSES, your children. You have deified a f*cking vaccine and Fauci. The "jab" is your GOD. Those that choose to exercise their intellectual ability and freedom has become your mortal enemies. Your support marginalization of these citizens, take their rights-you say; put them in concentration camps, pray that they die of COVID, REALLY?
The JAB is a failure! If it worked, reinfection rates would be less than 5% (acceptable variance) not the 53% reported by the CDC as of August 30, 2021.

While I have said how angry I am about this cluster mess.. we would be better served to address the existing conditions then heaping blame on Joe or anyone else. I am hoping that work will be successful in getting all remaing (about 100 of them I hear) out of Afghan in good health and unharmed. I also would like to rescue all those who helped us in the last 20 years, but am much less optimistic about that..

One of the strange recurring stab attempts from the right is the why don't you demand..

From why don't you bring them to your house , now you amend to why don't you change places with someone left behind..

What is your point?? Why don't you exchange yourself? why would you or me make a better exchange? we are both unhappy with the situation and the exchange is not in anyway possible.

While we did not get every last person, I do believe Biden and our state department will work hard to get them back. Hope very much they are successful..

I would like to see you with rather then hindering the progress.. much good has gone thru in the last 8 months and as nearly always some not so good. the overall view is quite good and I have no regret for my supporting Joe Biden..

By the way, I have actually had a home less family of 3 stay at my house for over 2 months. it was back in the early 90s but it was done.. so I at least should be able to do without your uttering and repeating what you must think is a slam or insult to me.. so very puzzling what passes for thought from the right wing anti-Americans.. strange indeed..

Just for your info, the family of 3 still are friend with us and except for a short stay at Leavenworth for one boy they have done fairly well..

OH wait.... the Mom did 90 days in Michigan, but she felt that was a well deserved vacation and it did not really bother her at all...

I don't know where you've been (oh, Minnesota, I see) but 100% wrong? Really? You obviously didn't watch COVID Joe's press conference, but then again most Minnesotans said BLM burning, looting, and rioting was either justified or "peaceful" and the police should be defended.
