No that sounds exactly like the right, to gain power by any means necessary, to consort and collaborate with a foreign country to win an election. To try and win over to a one party system, that party being yours. To override the ethics and the principles of the said government where there are no laws in place for protection, due to no one ever over stepping them before, and to blatantly go against our laws and manipulate the governing process in order to protect yourself. Declare the opposing party as the enemy of the state/country. Fire anyone who does not swear loyalty to you, above their loyalty to the country.

Sorry, but this is history. Hitler emulated Benito Mussolini and Franklin D. Roosevelt. Mussolini was a socialist who used partnerships with industrialists to buy their support just as Hitler and FDR did but FDR did his through the unions who partnered with the industrialists.
American progressives were staunch admirers of Lenin, later Stalin and Mussolini.
That's just for starters but my lunch break is over.
