I really don't get why people want to spread infection.
Mask wearing does three things:
It prevents you from spreading infection.
It prevents you from getting an infection.
If you do become infected, you get a smaller dose of viruses, and you are better at fighting off the infection.
Now that we now know vaccinated people can spread Corona viruses, this is important

A mask gives the wearer a false sense of security. If worn right it may offer 25% protection to others, 15% to the wearer. If worn right . most aren't. also when removed it should be handled as hazardous waste. Not left. hanging on the stereo knob till the next time you go in a store. Reusing a mask increases your chance of infection. As does constant touching and adjusting. Children should never be subjected to conditions where a mask must be worn as masks are inappropriate for kids. For many reasons including proper fit. That said , I now wear a mask to protect me from Vaccinated shredders. Not that it helps but it reminds me to avoid them whenever possible. Also when people see me in a mask they treat me like I was infected. so win win . If it makes you comfortable do it ,but don't reuse it. And don't wear a cloth mask for protection

Viruses do not have spores, they hitch hike on droplets exhaled from a person who is infected.They are viral particles. These small droplets are stoped by a mask.

Here's a 'no brainer' for you: Put on a fresh disposable mask. Put a cloth one over it. Make sure they are sealed properly around your nose and face! Safety first!
Now, walk into a room where a smoker lives. Smell that?
Now go to a fish market, and stand near the shrimp. Smell that?
Now step into a porta potty. Smell that?
