(Florida about 28,000, New York almost 48,000). As far as the Biden Administration's claim that they sent hundreds of ventilators to Florida, they also claimed that 350 million of the 330 million people in this country have been vaccinated. They made this claim twice in the same press conference.

Several thousand infected wetbacks were released in the city of McAllen Texas alone. Once they are released they disappear. I guess we will just have to wait for Florida Governor DeSantis to finish his inventory of his State's supply of equipment to fight the virus to know if any new equipment has arrived. This equipment supply number should be at least as important to him as the number of possible voters he can persuade with his harmful policies.

Thanks to DeSantis, Florida is in a far worse covid situation than last year. What's worse, DeSantis is fund raising by hawking t-shirts saying, "Don't Fauci My Florida".

For those who want the truth. I live in Florida. We are seeing a huge uptick but not because of DeSantis. What's he supposed to do? Lock down the economy and prove like N.Y. That doesn't stop the spread of Covid. We know that now. Sweden had no lockdowns. No mask mandates, no social distancing mandates, no closed schools. Not one kid died from Covid. What they did do was close the border. We have the highest percentage of 65 and older vaccinated in the nation. We also have 50% of our black population vaccinated. So just what is DeSantis doing by allowing parents to make the decision for their own kids?

Ya know, the other night I wached DeSantis on tv expecting to see a nut job rant and rave. That did not happen. He was talking to a group of Fla public health people and he was quite sane and sensible about almost everything.
He had a lot of problems with the concept of infectious diseases. Like he couldn't seem to figure out that Covid is a respiratory disease spread by droplets that you expell from your mouth and nose simply by talking or breathing. The other concept he had problems with with is how fast Covid spreads. I think he thinks it will peak soon, and we can all go back to normal. We don't know exactly when the peak will happen. Or how high it will get. Meanwhile, a lot of people are getting sick, while DeSantis soft peddled the vaccine
