They say the vaccines are working yet those who have gotten the vaccine are most prone to get the Delta Variant. More prone than the unvaccinated. Maybe after 50 or so booster shots, we’ll have this Covid problem corralled!

The next variant will be the Zeta Variant. It will be transmitted by means of an internet call. To avoid infection you have to resort only to text messaging. No more “Zoom Conference Calls”, they will be highly contagious!

You knoe why you get a flu shot every year? The vaccine manufacturers make a guess in the spring on which variants will circulate the following winter. You are injected with 3 variants. Most of the time one of those variants is what circulates in the following winter.
MERS, a close relitive of SARS went extinct. It didn't reach a pandemic state, but did infect a lot of people.
Since Covid is a RNA virus, it is very likely to mutate. Most viruses mutate to be more contagious and less virulent. The Delta varrient didn't do that it got more contagious and more virulent. But we can't see the future, so we don't know what's going to happen. Just remember nature is very clever
