When you talk with people these days it's like talking to people that saw two different events, and I know people on the right saw the footage of violence as it was happening in real time and what was released over the next few days. People were denouncing it, McCarthy did, McConnell did...Proud Republican Russian even denounced it as wrong.
Then we see this changing narrative about how these were people exercising their rights to protest, it was a "mostly" peaceful protest, with the exception of a peaceful protester being "murdered". And now the FBI is persecuting these people because they support trump.
On a topic recently here someone posted a picture and wanted to know where the violence was, which I thought was Darwin epic retarded, but hey...one picture said it all huh?
So this has had me wondering how people can be so blind to even more disturbing footage and ongoing information about the 500+ insurrectionists that are being charged with crimes, people who have roick solid cases against them because of video and social media.
I was shooting pool with a friend who for the most part I avoid discussing politics with, and he wants to know how I can support an administration prosecuting peaceful protesters...I said I couldn't, the peaceful protesters were not being charged with anything, it was only the ones on video breaking doors and windows, attacking police, causing general mayhem and damage.
He goes into the song and dance about what violence, it was peaceful they had a right to be there, there were no weapons, blah blah blah. We had youtube music videos on, so I grabbed the remote and typed 6th violence footage into it. I pulled up a scene where Babbitt was shot, the windows and doors were being crashed with objects and I asked if that looks peaceful, snapped it over to the crowd beating on a cop and threatening to shoot him with his own gun.
Larry said he didn't want to see that, it was out of context and didn't represent the way it was.
So I just added another piece to ignorance, it's willful, people know they are talking stupid crap, and they do not want to see or hear anything that affects their ability to represent ignorance. Larry has said to me on multiple occasions he doesn't want to know anymore about a situation, he already knows everything he needed to know to form his beliefs.
The longer it goes, the more peaceful and brave were the patriots that were simply exercising their rights. Now we have Ashley Babbitt becoming the poster martyr.
Trump already killed a lot of people with Covid, and will get tens of thousands of his supporters later this year, now he's egging on another insurrection or civil war that does not have the advantage of his presence as president and commander in chief of the military, or a pet AG.
You can call it a civil war and insurrectionists patriots, but when the bullets hit the bone and detainees go to prison it will be for being traitors for trying to overthrow this government.
Please watch the violent videos, and pay particular attention to how the rioters were treating cops, because there sure as hell was no respect for police and law and order.

So link the videos of the violence.
[not in any particular order]
As for respect for cops, I saw calm discussion between demonstrators and cops in some videos.
I saw lots of people waving flags and singing patriotic songs.
I saw later a line of cops with shields slowly and steadily approaching a crowd singing patriotic songs. The crowd back off as the cops approached.
I saw some suspicious looking characters, along with what looked like a cop, breaking a window. I saw a cops waving people inside.
I saw a known leader in both BLM and Antifa leading a group of young people into the rotunda.
I saw some idiots enter private offices and the congressional floor.
I saw a group of mostly middle aged demonstrators walking down a public hall which ended at doors closing off the area outside the congressional floor, ill and try to turn back but say there were people pushing from behind not letting them turn back. Then a few young men pushed through the group and began shoving the cops, shouting death to cop slogans, and began smashing the windows in the doors. A cop from within the closed section fired a shot which went passed the attackers and hit one of the trapped peaceful group who were pressed up against the far wall. (Ashli Babbitt).
I saw a handful of people shoving at a barricade, but no physical attack on the cops, no throwing rocks or bottles or masonry, no molotov cocktails, no lasers blinding the cops, and no setting cop cars or buildings on fire, and NO WEAPONS.
I saw cops shooting gas grenades into the crowds outside in the area they had a permit to demonstrate in, but no attacking from the crowds.
So please link your videos of violent insurrectionists.
