I think it's both genetic and a choice. We all form ideas of what we want in a mate at an early age. If our choice doesn't live up to our expectations, we move on. Or, if we were grossed out or abused in a relationship, we may look for someone who is more compassionate - in the same sex. Homosexuality used to be a hush-hush thing, as it should be. Nobody cares what you do in your bedroom - just don't make it public!

I do have to say that you may have a good argument saying that someone may have been grossed out or abused earlier in life , and that it may have a factor in the choice that may make , but I do still feel confident in saying that a person is not born gay . They choose to take that road , which is not
acceptable , both religiously , and morally , & not a excuse to justify their lifestyle , nor reason to lable someone not willing to approve thier sexual choosing , as prejudice or not with the times.

Parades are in public spaces. You are not required to attend. You might choose to keep your face and nose at home or elsewhere, if a particular location or activity is not aesthetically pleasing.

I think you're right when you say a person is not born a homosexual - that it's a choice that they make. After all, God gave all of us a free will to choose between good or evil. The same thing applies to abortion. It's a choice.

I was invited to a gay pride parade by a co-worker. I never went. "Pride goes before the fall." I only know of one gay couple who stayed together (40 years) until they died. I knew a gay guy who died of AIDS. I knew of a former gay co-worker who was murdered.

I agree somewhat but look where that has gotten us. Sorry things are out of control and deserves pushing back. I’m surprised women aren’t speaking up more against transgender‘s and how unfair it is to compete against them.

Then there’s the fruitcake out in Los Angeles naturally that identifies as a woman in an upscale spa. So what does he/she do? Goes in the women’s section and exposes his penis two small girls. Sorry that’s a sicko and children should not be exposed to that lewd behavior.

The lady was giving the front desk guy crap for not doing anything about it and his response was ma’am she identified as female! The lady replied sorry all I see is a dick being exposed!

Then I heard the story about young kids being taught about anal sex. Sorry but kids should not be taught that crap especially in grade school.
