We needed a non political medical professional. I do not believe we got that with Dr. Fauci.

According to the article Dr. Fauci in February of 2020 said “If you look at the masks that you buy in a drug store, the leakage around that doesn’t really do much to protect you.” Later on he said he never came out against the masks for medical reasons, but because there was a shortage for medical staff, then later reversed himself yet again by saying “I want to make it be a symbol for people to see that that’s the kind of thing you should be doing,” , which according to National Review meant the masks were only symbolic.

Perhaps you do not object being lied to by an expert because he sees you as a young child, but I do object.

The funny thing is this is not Dr. Fauci's first time with a plague and not the first time people were unhappy with his performance. In the article they cite the 1980s AIDS epidemic and Fauci's slowness to " authorize therapeutic treatments ". " Gay men turned to “buyers’ clubs” to get the drugs that their own desperate research indicated they needed. "

Now you said : " He never dismissed the possibility of the virus escaping from a lab in China.."

One more time Son... Dr. Fauci opinion was as he expressed was that the Covid was not created in a lab.. if it did escape from a lab, which he did not dismiss, means it was brought into the lab and not created in a lab.. He repeated this several times.. this is one time he made the statement..

A number of very qualified evolutionary biologists have said that everything about the stepwise evolution over time strongly indicates that it evolved in nature and then jumped species," Fauci said.

"If it isn't manipulated in the lab and you're trying to say it escaped from the lab, then how did it get in the lab? It got in the lab because somebody isolated it from the environment. That's why I don't spend a lot of time in that circular argument," he added.

Your full on irrational hatred for President Donald J. Trump allows you to make statements like " the 600,000 plus dead , give most of the credit to trump. " It also will allow you to continue to support Dr. Fauci. Now that the worst of the Corona Virus is in the rear view mirror it isn't likely that Dr. Fauci will cause any more major damage that might reflect badly on your boy Joe. So as long as he helped get rid of Donald J. Trump Fauci can remain one of your heroes. In the end it is all you care about.

You are so right. The left has no compunction about lying, cheating, back-stabbing, on-and-on, because they have no conscience. It never bothers them to lie, when caught, there is never an apology, (or if there is it is an insincere one so fake it is itself a lie,) they just move on to the next lie. Of course when lying is a core belief, (and as you pointed out there are no consequences,) why would you regret it, or stop doing it. We know from his emails that he knew the mutations could not have possibly have been natural.
