I think there is something, in case of treason by the sitting administration, where the military takes charge and a special election must be held within a defined period of time. I remember this from somewhere in the mists of my memory, so I'll have to look for it in constitutional law. But maybe that's why they're purging the military?

Really permafrost? You can’t be serious. I don’t know any republicans that are running away from Ronald Reagan, especially after that train wreck Jimmy Carter who lost his balls to the Iranians. Reagan brought pride back to America again. The reason we accumulated debt was because we won the Cold War during his term by out spending the USSR militarily. Peace through strength.

As far as Clinton goes, who by the way ran on a tax cut and lied, owed his election to Ross Perot. He governed by the polls and owes his success to Newt Gingrich and the republicans in congress for forcing him to balance the budget. If you remember, he was dragged kicking and screaming into signing the bill, but once the polling showed it was wildly popular with the American people he was more than happy to take all the credit for it. If you “choose” to remember, he was also in favor of infanticide and had more scandals than any president in modern history. You seem to choose not to remember that despite campaigning on a tax cut, just eight days into his presidency he went on national TV and announced the largest tax increase in our countries history at that time. Do the words Paula Jones ring a bell?
