I'm afraid you got my ethnicity wrong. I'm Native American, and have no African blood at all. Many Black people have joined forces with Native Americans to ameliorate the obstacles in the way of total Civic participation. Native American tribes often housed Black Refugees on the run. I don't hate my white family because I don't have a white family... I have a white husband, which is out of character for me, but he did change my tire in the rain.

Reading comprehension is probably not one of your strongest suits. I was addressing your post to another poster stating he should check his DNA for black blood in his lineage. Your reference to “one drop”.

We believe that root causes (such as transportation, zoning laws, inequitable wealth...) need to be studied so that local non-profits can tap into donor money. Non-profits work in tandem with governmental departments, at the local, state, and federal levels.
