Office. It’s next to a parlor that makes homemade ice cream and candy. It’s also right across from the beach. Nice view.

I've been working from home for the last year. Don't ever want to go back. Save a TON on gas and wear and tear on my car considering I was making a 85-mile round trip every day.

My office is in my home, so I commute 12 feet.

I have an office within my home and had to learn to discipline my time.. Once I enter my office its not up and down to put a load of laundry in or clean something or run to the store..When I changed and managed my time better everything got easier..Do enough traveling for business as it is so I enjoy the freedom of flexibility.. Have clients come to “ my office”all the time.. Allows a more personal touch serving coffee out on the deck instead of a coffee shop.. They enter through the door of the office, not my home...
One thing tho, when you have your own business there is no 9-5 regime.. You work until its done...

I've done both...I would rather go to the office. At home was convenient (I could work in my sweats and
slippers
) but I missed interacting with other people. After a while working at home, I found myself talking to my dog and watching out for the mailman for excitement
But...retirement is the best of both worlds. I'm not tied down to either home or an office and I can come and go as I wish. I volunteer a few times a week, but don't have to...and when it snows out, I can roll over and deal with it whenever the mood hits.

I have the best of both worlds......I live about 30 yards from my office. Of course most people say going to the beach isn't really a job, but i beg to differ..... mask fins board chair cooler kayak.... but the best part of going to my office is unwoke marine life...... Aloha

Loved working from home! Very disciplined! No tv or net flicks! Most of the time no lunch! In office I was too distracted! Everyone wanted to go to lunch or have meetings! End of day nothing accomplished!

I enjoyed the 35 years of my career that I spend going to an office every day and developed relationships that I wouldn't have had otherwise. However, as my company transitioned from the daily office to the remote office (or work from home) over the next 6 years of my working life, I enjoyed it even more. We were a technology company and offered the remote working technology to anyone who was not a person who was needed in the field to provide service to our customers although their service vehicle became their office.
We were allowed and encouraged to go to our offices and travel when it was appropriate for the business but we were given that freedom of choice.
The final three years of my employment (prior to retirement), my office was a 4 hour drive from my home and while I still "went to the office" it was only for about 3 days out of 2 weeks.
I had all the technology available to me in my home office which included 4 digit dialing to any phone within my company in a two state region. I also had immediate video conferencing with any of my offices within the two state region. At that point in time my work consisted of attending conference calls (audio and video), managing a $500M capital budget and managing the the technical operations that affected some 4.2M customers in 2 states in the Southeastern USA.
I enjoyed very much the ability to perform my critical duties without every leaving my home office unless I found it absolutely necessary to go "on site"!
