Yeah, I think they refer to that today as "moving the goal posts," which has been tried. That's why I think we need to stick to the Constitution and stop the insidious (not so insidious lately) encroachment into measures that are designed to destroy the Constitution. In the few years I have left, I intend to do what I can to help insure this doesn't continue.
