According to many of them, they are African first, and American second. The same can be said for any race or ethnicity who puts any qualifier before American. Maybe I'll start identifying like that. I can be a Scottish/Norwegian/Irish/Spanish/Ghanaian American, and those are just the ones I know about.

Probably he would. No doubt a closet racist with a huge amount of white privilege as well. I was quite young then, and did not pay much attention, but I seem to remember him as a nice man. In those days, the democrats allowed their leaders to be nice.

Asian bashing is extremely well reported, very disturbing, same thing happened in Australia not so long ago, queer bashing petered out in Australia about mid the 1980's, and I have been aware of the coincidence of queer bashing being concurrent with the beginning of the fall of the Soviet Union for quite some time.

I will have to distance myself from your beliefs. It has nothing to with skin color, DNA, or whatever. It is strictly an issue of environment and upbringing. And yes, we conservatives have failed them. We did not stop the evil minded democrats from pushing the past three generations of Blacks into serfdom to the progressives.
