If anyone cares for an update, my wife and I both had our second shots on Wednesday. It was the Moderna version. We had our first ones in February, with no side affects other than slightly tender shoulders at the injection site.
After the second dose, my wife again had zero side affects. I felt fine on Wednesday. Thursday morning I woke up with mild muscle and joint pain, and pretty severe fatigue, which lasted most of the day. if felt like the flu, except without the typical respiratory problems. Slept well that night and woke up fine on Friday. No point or issue here. Just sharing what I experienced.

Yep, I took the vaccine.
It was a reasoned, informed, and well researched decision based on the fact that my wife and I both DO have health issues which put us at a higher risk from covid19. If I were younger and, as you say, healthy and with few or no health issues, I would have either waited a year or two and see how the vaccine affected those who took it, or I would have simply never taken it. The percentage of healthy younger people who die from covid seems to be lower than the comparable death rate for the flu.
But because of our circumstances, both my wife and I decided to go ahead. Consider us part of the human trials for the rest of you folks.
