The Speaker of the House does not automatically get promoted to be Vice-president when the current Vice-president is elevated the the Presidency. The new President nominates a new Vice-president and the Senate votes to confirm or reject the nominee.
When Agnew resigned as Nixon's Vice-president, Carl Albert (D) was Speaker of the House. If there was an automatic promotion, he would have become Nixon's Vice-president and, upon Nixon's resignation, he would have become President.

You're right, I did Pelosi as a pick-em hunch & if it goes that way AOC as a pick-em hunch for Speaker. I'd love to loose my pick-ems for sure. I'd be happy to be wrong.
