Take your pick...or, as many choose to do...ignore 'em and pretend they don't exist. (pay attention to the second link...taken from the first grouping.)

It is achieved through a very specific process. Republicans look at districts with heavy minority populations and figure out how to create obstacles to their voting that won’t effect republicans as significantly. For instance by strictly limiting the time people can vote low wage hourly workers are either kept from the polls or it costs them pay to take time to vote. Limiting state support to local election officials means long lines in urban precincts and no lines in the suburbs. Voter ID requirements that allow gun licenses but don’t allow student ID suppresses democratic voters while enabling republicans. Requiring a street address rather than Post Office box disenfranchises Native Americans who do not have street numbers on reservation homes.

There may be, some attempts at suppressing of voters by both sides. I just don’t believe it near the problem it is blown up to me. So easy to fix if they wanted to. what’s worse IMO is large segments of the population believing their is no integrity in the vote. I can’t believe we have whiners about standing in line. I would like that day to be a holiday, so no one chooses work over voting.

Agreed. If you notice my above response to Nwtk2007, I added a link taken from the first website link....

I also agree with the idea of everyone having the day off for voting, so as to possibly lessen or eliminate many of the alternative ways of voting.

No, when the voting rights act was gutted by the SC, this sort of oppressions was the immediate answer from the right wing republicans.. it has never stopped. even while a dozen or more of the laws passed to limit voting were overturned via courts the right wing keeps pushing for more..

As your hero trump himself stated; if we have to many voters reach the polls, republican's will never win another election... or words to that effect..

efforts to limit the vote have been continuous to this very day..

Good morning J, another day turning to crap so early?? Gosh and darn, sorry about that. perhaps you should change you clinging to the anti American faction of this nation..

Trump admits "you'd never have a Republican elected in this country again" if voting access expanded
Trump says the quiet part out loud on the GOP not wanting higher turnout

President Donald Trump on Monday came right out and admitted his Republican Party would soon be defunct if voting in the United States was easier in a way that allowed more citizens to vote in elections, telling a national television audience it was a good thing that Democratic proposals for increased voting protections and ballot access were left out of last week's coronavirus relief package.

The comment came during an interview with Fox & Friends, the president's go-to show for positive coverage.

"This morning on live television, the president of the United States admitted he is opposed to laws that would make it easier for Americans to vote because that would hurt Republicans," said Ellen Kurz

You are taking out of context what Trump is saying. He was talking about the changes the Democrats want to make by Federalizing the elections. Which, by the way is in direct contrast to that Document , you seem too despise, called the Constitution. We all know mass mail in ballots with no signature verification, 10 days after voting deadline to count additional ballots , unsupervised drop ballot boxes, and no I.D. requirement will be ripe with fraud. You are one of the biggest anti-American pukes on OPP. Your stance is always to support illegals, degrade our values and lie. Hope you are in Minneapolis during the trial. That way you can see first hand what you and your ilk have helped bring about.

Minorities are less likely to have drivers licences, and are unwilling to pay for an id. How about when Wisconsin required a photo ID and made only a small limited time to get one? Then there is long lines at voting places. I would be so mad if I had to wait more than 15 min to vote that I would stay, but most people will not do that. So, you put very few poling places in Democrtsic districts, and vola! you suppress the vote. So we went to vote by mail, and more people voted. Georgia found two dead people who voted. Voting by mail brings pele out. It is noy a bad thing.
