The Biden administration is working with Facebook, Google, and Twitter to target “COVID misinformation” and overcome “vaccine hesitancy.

The White House’s direct engagement with the companies to mitigate the challenge has not been previously reported. An administration official has previously said the administration will try to work with Silicon Valley on the issue.

“Disinformation that causes vaccine hesitancy is going to be a huge obstacle to getting everyone vaccinated and there are no larger players in that than the social media platforms,” said the source, who has direct knowledge of the White House’s efforts.

“We are talking to them … so they understand the importance of misinformation and disinformation and how they can get rid of it quickly.”

The Biden White House is especially trying to make sure such material “does not start trending on such platforms and become a broader movement,” the source said.

A spokesperson from Facebook confirmed that the company proactively reached out to the Biden White House to offer “any assistance we can provide.” A Twitter spokesperson said that the company is “in regular communication with the White House on a number of critical issues including COVID-19 misinformation.”

The government source confirmed that the tech companies were “receptive” to requests for more censorship of “misinformation,” and promised further updates on the Biden administration’s censorship efforts “within the next ten days or so.”

The source pointed to a recent anti-vaccine protest at L.A’s Dodgers Stadium as an example of events that the administration wanted to prevent from happening in the future.

The antivax movement got its start when a doctor in England wrote a paper about the link between Autism and childhood vaccines. He falsified data, and spent two years in prison for it.
There is nothing wrong with the two current vaccines. We would have heard something out of the medical community by now.
I don't have any problem with censoring antivaxers. You can't yell fire! In a crowded theater, you should not be able to encourage people not to be vaccinated, either

I can tell you what my doctor told me yesterday. “I’m a doctor and I’m telling you to take off that mask” and when I said this whole thing is stupid, he agreed. I’ve already had two vaccines and paid for it in bad health and I can assure you that no matter how many boosters I’m told told I need, this is the end for me. No more.

People who do not get vaccines get sick. Ten percent of them become long hallers. They are not able to work. Therefore, we have to pay for their stupidity by having them on welfare, food stamps and social security.

It is not known what the effect is on the developing baby in the womb.

And get this...a law was passed giving the makers of the vaccines a free pass, a "cannot be sued" for side effects or negative consequences.

At least, the above information is what I read before those giving warnings were banned.
