No doubt there may be some here that have no idea what it takes to put meat on their tables !
Good Pictures. Yes, I am sure some folks here think meat just naturally comes out of the back room of a grocery store.

I cannot believe I have been lied to for all these years, cows come from cow slip plants, chickens come from chick pea plants, hogs come from hog wart plants, cats come from cattail plants.

Unfortunately you are correct. City people seldom know or care what went into the producing of the food on their table.

Back in high school I spent a weekend at my best friend's ranch during calving season... It changed me

Ask aoc I bet she thinks that, and that the ranchers only keep cattle for pets
great pics, reminds me of eastern Idaho in January calving season, -30F on a warm day...OH forgot the wind factor kicks it down to -60F ish or lower ;-)

Been there, done that. Lived on a ranch with horses and goats. I miss the lifestyle, but I don't miss the chores in the blizzards or all the mud when it melts.
