What Should We Think About This Information???

WHAT SHOULD WE THINK ABOUT THIS INFORMATION??? Don D.

"It is the opposite of Democracy when a secret cabal of wealthy and politically connected elites conspire to manipulate the rules and laws of an election in order to win."

Anyone who seriously believes that a diminished and disoriented bumbling China Joe Biden, who almost never left his basemen to campaign,  and for whom there was zero enthusiasm, somehow got 16,000,000 MORE votes than Barack Obama, is either lying or is in serious need of psychological help.

The failing Times Magazine has tried to make the case that the 2020 election was not stolen.

The article they just published shows the roadmap that was used to secure the election fraud; the players, the names, and the organizations that deprived Americans of an honest election last Fall.

When I studied Journalism in college, one of the mandatory classes was "Bias is Media."  We were given articles of all kinds and were challenged by the instructor to locate words, phrases, and even whole paragraphs that lacked objectivity and tried to bias the readertoward a particular point of view that the writer was trying to use to convince the reader.  The Times article can be readhere:  https://time.com/magazine/us/5936018/february-15th-2021-vol-197-no-5-u-s/
It is titled, The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election
In my retrospective opinion, the "shadow campaign," bragged about in the article, was the design for stealing the election.

This article is nothing less than journalistic fraud. In reality it is political propaganda, and the fact that Time editors permitted such political tripe to go out under their masthead is a strong indictment against them and any rationale for its continued existence.  So, I pretended that I was 20 years old and investigated this article as though it was one of my class assignments to identify bias in an article.  I must say, back then, the bias (when you could find it), was much more subtle, even debatable - which we did in class.
Nothing like Ms. Ball's article would ever had seen the light of day, back then.  Fake news has a come a long since.

Please read the article to see what I mean....
...and when you do, look for some of the jaundiced phrases that were easily found throughout the article. Here is a an easy-to-identify
compilation I put together. I'm sure you can find others for yourself.

"President Trump refused to concede""Trump’s attempts to reverse the result:""....oppose Trump’s assault on democracy."".....a remorseless pandemic and an autocratically inclinedPresident""....preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories""....false claims of victory""Trump and his allies were running their own campaign tospoil the election""His henchmen at the state level sought to block"".....his lawyers brought dozens of spurious suits to make it moredifficult to vote–an intensification of the GOP’s legacy of suppressive tactics""Trump plotted to block a legitimate vote count."".....he spent the months following Nov. 3 trying to steal theelection he’d lost""......finally summoning his army of supporters to the Jan. 6 rallythat ended in deadly violence at the Capitol."".....the President himself was trying to disrupt the election,""A group of former elected officials was researchingemergency powers they feared Trump might exploit.""It wasn’t hard to find liberals who saw Trump as a dangerousdictator,""Trump has made it clear that this will not be a fairelection"".....he will use the right-wing information system to establishhis narrative and incite his supporters to protest" [Aren’t protests good? While progressives may gloat about their stranglehold on what most Americans get to see and hear, and the opinions they're influencing, they should be reminded that this, or any other country,  cannot survive without an honest and objective media. In this sense, they are stimulating their own destruction, as well as ours. Their lust for power cannot be slaked any more than the list for liberty that dwells in the hearts of so many, and which was once promised to us by our never-equaled US Constitution.

How correct you are, John! There was a time when high school students with a yen for wordsmithing were guided to “Time” as a goal. I would not grant even a “C-“ to a student who submitted such a blatantly biased accounting.

Count the times that a form of “autocrat,” “authoritarian,” and “dictator” were used, but never with even a vague reference to that which the writers considered to warrant such designations.

Third graders learn that there are two sides to a story; these journalistic wannabes would do well to cycle back to those basic classes that they missed.

If anyone ever comes to me with a complaint I know to be false, I let them plead their entire case, then show them why their conclusions can’t be accurate. If I fear that I am wrong, I re-examine the material, and, if truly wrong, I apologize and do whatever is necessary to make amends and to assuage the injured party. I couldn’t sleep if I did otherwise.

Yet, not one of the millions of Democrats are willing to even try to prove us wrong?

May God help us all.

Thanks for posting that. I read the Chicago Tribune daily and throughly. Almost daily I read similar stories with obvious biased statements in-bedded. Disgusting in what I once thought was a great newspaper. And that isn't even the over abundance of biased editorials and letters to the editor section. Disgusting.
