Thank God McConnell will no longer be The Majority leader. He used Trump to get re-elected and they left him to hang by himself. McConnell has no honor.

The government that governs best, governs least.

He sucks. And his little homily in the Senate today was the last straw. I hope Kentucky recalls him. He is a scumbag extraordinaire 😠😠

I don’t support pork projects of any kind, and I really hate foreign pork if it does not provide a significant real benefit to our country and the world.

But we strongly agree on one thing! McConnell is a POS and should have been recalled or voted out years ago.

My sister lives in Lexington and I have spent a lot of time in KY over the years. Between McConnell and Paul, they have the worst batch of useless POS senators in the country.

At least Paul appears to be one NOT on the take. My gosh, he was actually mowing his own lawn when his loony neighbor attacked him.

At last, you're starting to catch on. Now, how do you feel about Biden bribing Georgians with a $2000 relief check if they vote Assoff and Warlock into the Senate?

I’d love to meet you both in person dearie, I’ll even offer to spring for the beer, or coffee if you prefer.

But yeah you both should understand that meeting any of you in person does not concern me one bit.

That should tell you something, now let’s see if you can figure out what

I would think that is illegal as hell and Biden should have his ass impeached plain and simple.

Next question?

Either that you're a more friendly person than you come across in your writing, or you're overconfident and have stereotyped who you think you're talking to and are cruisin' for a bruisin'🌞
PS I don't drink either beer OR coffee, most think I'm an alien because of that.

Well I started this thread and maybe this will finish it. I have watched this almost uninterrupted from beginning to end. I just watched the last debate and even if the Republican objections for Pennsylvania were confirmed, others weren't and the election of Biden is now assured. God Help America. As for the storming of the Keep, or the Capital, I've heard and seen enough to believe that Antifa, dressed as Trump supporters were the cause of invading the Capital. Then for two hours I heard one after another of the Representatives call it insurrection and blaming President Trump. There were about a million Trump supporters there who were celebrating Trump and wanting to be there around the Capital to let the Representatives know that they weren't happy with the obvious steal of the election. They also wanted "Unity" that Biden called for. Something that wasn't granted for 4 years by Biden and his cohorts. Pathetic.

And the girl that was shot has died. That death is on those that actively took part in storming the Capital. And not the peaceful million who didn't storm the Capital.

Now for those damn Representatives and Senators. The Senators were gutless. Voting without debate or little debate. The Republicans were mostly gutless. Not signing up to protest the various states. For mostly voting against this vote fraud and the opportunity to correct it. The Democrats were gutless in voting party line votes. Controlled little puppets. Totally against the Constitution they just swore to uphold.

And the Representatives were almost as bad. At least a majority of Republicans voted to uphold the objections to Arizona and Pennsylvania, the only two states that were fully objected to. But as usual, the Democrats voted straight party line. Gutless. I can have no respect for the Democrat Party if they can't even come up with a small minority to stop the steal and protect our Constitution.

Now for the individuals. Did any of you who watched that piece of shitte debate ever see a bigger gathering of bull shitte liars and pompous asses in you life. How can we trust those pieces of shitte to lead America. What a pathetic bunch. ALL OF THEM.

May God help America

Then maybe wine or lemonade?

Right now I am just really pissed. Nobody has taken over our capital since 1814, and for what? The piece of crap Trump! Yeah that pisses me off more than I can adequately relate right now.

Confidence absolutely, overconfidence no.

Overconfidence on the fire line leads to death. Confidence leads to safety and operational stability and efficiency. No different than the military, which just happens to be what the wildland fire community was modeled after way back in 1910.

That makes two of us!
But don't put all the blame for this on Trump. Suddenly the media condemns those who breached the Capitol, as they should have. Biden calls for an end to the violence. Where were his calls to end the violence by Antifa and BLM last summer? The Supreme Court could have resolved this because it was a constitutional issue. They took the coward's way out. They didn't want Antifa coming to their homes and doing what they did to Josh Hawley. The Democrats are also responsible, especially the Squad, Pelosi, and Schumer, for the things they say. The media for the way they report and ignore other news. If they don't, then who? The legislature is responsible for making election law that was usurped by the rogue state judiciary and chief executive of PA in violation of the Constitution. What recourse is there other than the most deliberative body in the world having to pick up the pieces that others have abdicated as their responsibility to ensure honest elections.? Yes, this crap pisses me off also. I hope every idiot involved in breaching the Capitol building is brought to justice. I don't care who or which group they are with.

We will see if he comes through on his promise. His word, and his honor depend on it. We will soon see what kind of man he is.

Well I damn sure agree with your last statement. I hope LE can use facial recognition, online blogs and other techniques to find every single person who entered the capitol illegally and they prosecute them all to the fullest. And I don't care if that is Trump supporters, Proud Boys, BLM or Antifa infiltrators, or my grandmother (if she was still alive). Every one of them should be brought to justice so we never have to see this again!

But, regardless of what you say, none of that reduces Trumps responsibility for what happened yesterday. Actually Biden is on record numerous times condemning the violence and the rioting and property destruction, and it was a strong condemnation numerous times. Its easy to find online if you care to take a minute to look.

But I suggest you watch Trumps speech this morning to the rally right before they went up and overtook the Capitol. If you don't think that was a major incitement then you I don't know what to tell you.

Then go back and look at all the tweets and speeches and rally's over the past two months and Trumps incessant urging for his followers to show up in DC on January 6 and not let congress or the dems "steal the vote". Plan to spend some time as there are a lot of tweets involved here including some short videos.

Then you can look at all the crap he has spread concerning the vote fraud, that he started way back in 2016 and which has all been proven to be garbage through over 60 lost court cases.

Then watch the footage of the folks from the Trump rally walking from there to the capitol and starting to get uppity.

Then watch all the video footage and still photos of what actually happened at the capitol. US agents inside the capitol barricading doors with guns drawn. Proud Boys breaking through door and windows and entering the building with handguns drawn. Congress members hiding behind desks. People entering congressional offices and trashing them! Two pipe bombs found but thankfully disarmed before anything happened! 4 people dead! More than a dozen police officers hurt!

And after all that, then come back and tell me just how much Trump is responsible for what happened yesterday.

If not for Trump, there would have been no rally in DC yesterday.

If not for Trump, there would be nobody thinking there was significant fraud in the election, which has proven totally false.

If not for Trump, the Rally in DC would not have turned into a bunch of hoodlums trashing our national capitol for the first time since 1814. Think about that for a moment! Trump created the situation that led to a sacking of our nation's capitol building, while he was the damned president, for the first time since the British did it in 1814 during the War of 1812. If that does not totally disgust you then you really are not an American.

If not for trump, 4 people would not have died.

If not for Trump, a dozen police officers would not have been hurt.

If not for Trump, I doubt either of the two elections in GA would have gone democratic (sorry, just had to throw that one in).

Anyway, watch out in the future as Trump created a few felonies yesterday and I would not be at all surprised if he were to be prosecuted for in the very near future. Inciting a riot is a felony in DC.

By the way, did you hear who Biden is going to announce for his AG?

Its a name you should be familiar with: Merrick Garland

Now that is a great pick.

Oh, one other thing to think about. Now that the senate is going dem, Biden will be able to get just about any nomination he wants through congress, so Garland is likely a shoe-in to be approved. I hear a lot of GOP folks actually think he is a really good pick after what we had with Barr, so sounds like he will have some significant republican support as well.
