Merry Christmas to all my buddies here at OPP!

I hope you had a blessed Christmas Day!~May Next year bring us a Safer Happier & Happy Year..
You are the one that has control over your life!.. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! It can be just as good as any other year.. or it can be a Shite year..either way, it's you that decides your mood when you get out of bed.. you and God know this..

So you can choose to be miserable, OR you can decide to be blessed with all that is around you, be grateful for what you have and don't wallow in what you don't have..

Envy is one of the 7 deadly sins, it seems to be the most prevalent..being envious of what others have, that you too could have with some work!..Earn it.. It feels wayyy better!! Ego..Pride..Sloth...Envy...Gluttony...Wrath...Lust & Greed! What I am seeing lately, is pretty much all of them out here in the world.. Only YOU & God can sort that out.. So hug your loved ones that are with you! Pray for those that are not..and be grateful for what you have! Thank you. I am curmudgeon some of the time or at least I try to be. Then along comes someone with a happy outlook on life and gets me to make a list of all the good things I have. I fuss about the impossible machines of the present. Computers that don't do what I want, idiot drivers, cell phones that are impossible, I will not even try an IPAD or what ever. Obviously top of my list is my wife. We celebrated 50 during this stay-at-home time. Didn't get to have a vacation but gives us time to plan a good one. On the list are all the modern devices we are using now. We can attend church service on the computer which wouldn't have been possible just a few years ago. The list grows but each person needs to write their own.
May the coming year be a joyful and healthy one for you and thanks for your upbeat writing.
Now I can go back to being a curmudgeon.
