As one of Native American descent, I've been studying, making and using the traditional medicines of my race for over two decades. Somewhere around 2004 or 5, there was a flu shot shortage, so vaccinations were only available to babies, very young children, the elderly or those with cronic conditions such as diabetes or cancer. I got out my trusty handbook on Native American medicinal plants and made a list of ingredients for what I eventually called "poor man's flu shot". It consisted of yerba santa (a plant specifically for colds and flus), birch bark to purify blood, red clover to cleanse the lymphatic system, lemon juice for Vitamin C (very strengthening to the immune system), cayenne pepper to blast any virus out of my system and raw organic honey for antioxidants and to make the whole concoction palatable. I like making my own medicines because I control the strength, I control the dose, I control what goes into it, but more importantly, I control what does NOT go into it. As for the products you mentioned, I haven't seen them around here, but take my word for it: my brother and I can verify that no virus stands a chance against chili peppers! They just BLAST them right out of the system as in do not pass go, do not collect $200.00!

Hello, Dolly! Sixty-five years without a flu-shot...sixty-five years without the flu. I do, however indulge in various members of the Noble hot-pepper family. I'm too modest to mention some unfortunate side-effects here...
