All the pundits will probably give that reason for the Dow reaching 30K, but nobody really KNOWS why the markets act as they do. It could be the vaccine news that is moving the markets! It could be a factor of momentum. Wall St isn't dumb enough to think that Biden will bring stability, it will actually be quite the opposite!

GM throwing trump under the bus and announcing the intent to invest $37 Billion in 30 electric vehicles is part of the momentum, this creates jobs in all the support networks such as installing thousands of charging stations. Every million electric vehicles puts another dent in the need for oil and gasoline, which decreases the need to subsidize ethanol and oil.
