When business owners get locked down, or more exactly closed down, do they still have to pay property taxes if they own/are purchasing the property? Do they still have to pay business taxes & & other taxes & fees? Do they rebates on prepaid taxes & fees & license fees?

Interesting point, they are being denied the use of their property;

which constitutes a "taking", without any just compensation.

Yeh, it's probably foolish of me to think this way but I'm guessin as soon as Grabin Newsom drive all the good businesses out of town him & his friends will scoff them up cheap for the time he gets the boot.

yes they do but if they keep up before this yr they should have a 3 year time to pay but all adds up it would be a grace period but every yr they do not pay more interst on it then keep charging ..may epend on each situation might have city tax or what ever all they can do is find out ..never hear of anything on business but they get the bill & they will charge each month more interest... they do not care more & likely

Is that yes, they still have to pay taxes, & yes, they get rebates?
That second yes would be a shocker.

That's could be part of the PLAN! But the REAL REASON is that they ONLY want large Globalist-connected Corporations managing all the wealth, easier to control than lots of little moms & pops!

Guess it would depend on the state and it's tax structure.....here in Tx i would still be required to pay sales tax, no selling, no tax to pay....leasing a buisiness property here during all this stupidity is greatly reduced from my understanding, it is with my company, for now anyway since our business is affected by all this nonsense.
We are still required to renew any licenses or permits regardless....cities and counties want their money too

Yes! Taxes do not stop on any property. Business licenses will be canceled if not paid & depending on the State or City may incur a fine for letting the license lapse. Obviously when your business is closed & you file your quarterly income taxes, you can claim no expected income.

In most cases you can get deferral but you will have to pay interest & usually have a set time period to catch up. To get an extension you may have to re-file 30-60 days before due date.

Doesn't make a lotta sense to me to pay for a license NOT to do business. If all the non- busines owners don't have to pay for a NOT TO DO business license no wonder they keep voting for those knuckle heads. They figure they're really getting a break. Outstanding-LOL

Good point! In this case if the state lock the business down then you the business owner should write to state tax collector like in California it calls 'Franchise Tax board' and I believe each state has different name.

You should ask them question and demand answer to your satisfaction do not let them brush you off. The best thing to do is to get together with other business owners who are in the same situation and confront them as a group do not go alone. People have to raise up and fight back for your Constitutional rights don't just sit there let your employees dictating you of what you should do and shouldn't do. Be brave and forceful, this is the time to fight not to back down. As a group, you discuss what you want, make a list of questions and you all confront them together.
