A sensible businessman doesn't let his capital sit there, he grows his business and he takes care of his assets.

Won't admit what it she knows is true, because it would seem like giving the Trump administration credit. Median house hold income went up under Trump. Period.

These lefties will deny Trump's every accomplishment no matter what, but then they support a lie based political platform.

Every single "selling point" of every leftist Democrat agenda is based on disinformation, because they know fully well that the American people would not support them if they told the truth about their actual intentions.

Did your "good" business owner friends increase the wages of their hard working employees when the owners enjoyed a huge tax cut from the Trump Administration? Trump's Corporate Tax Cut is not trickling down. https://www.americanprogress.org/issues/economy/news/2019/09/26/475083/trumps-corporate-tax-cut-not-trickling/

Americanprogress.org? Really? I deal in the world you reference. Until Covid hit, almost every company I know of was adding employees and or upping wages. I hope you aren't as dishonest in your tax business as you are in your political opinions.

They did. But then, they also enjoy solid employee loyalty and longevity. This makes their businesses more profitable because their employees actually belong to a team, and enthusiastically go well beyond the extra mile as such.

In my own experience, having worked in several different areas when I was younger and still unsure of where I belonged in the marketplace, most of the employers for whom I worked did the best they could for their assets.

Several were very savvy, focused, hard-nosed NY businessmen who were smart enough to know that employee loyalty is one of the most important factors in the success of a company.

I learned from every employer I ever had, and was promoted to responsible charge positions on every job I ever had, including managing departments or retail units, once a casino security shift, before going into business for myself.

Joe Biden and I think it will change, especially with a Democratic majority in the House and perhaps a Democratic tie-breaker in the Senate. If Mitch can be stifled progress is possible.

That’s possible along with the republicans picking up couple more in the house to block the super majority there and holding the Senate we could have an interest time for sure..

Mitch isn’t one to cave easily as you have seen..pelosi well, she’s just pelosi..

I am not expressing a political opinion, I am telling about my real life experiences. Kudos to those employers who are "upping wages." That is what we all hope for as loyal, hard working employees.

Good Lord lindajoy what do these idiots consider progress? Ignoring the Law? Packing the court? Confiscation of legal firearms from non-criminal citizens? Open borders with free healthcare too illegals? Abortion on demand? National mask mandates and lockdowns? Politicians and or their sub groups defining speech?
I will not comply!

Your experience is similar to mine before I went into business for myself. I appreciate the value of a good hard working employees and paid salaries above the prevailing wage. All of this doesn't change the fact that 40% of American workers are being paid a wage lower than $15.00 per hour. I enjoy "white privilege" and the help of a good college education. Many of America's working poor do not have these advantages. It doesn't mean they are not hard workers.

Yes, Liberals tend to be stingy with their own money.

Fig. A: their own money 💰

While a conservative might write a $100 check to a charity, the liberal will write a $5 check and then demand that the government subsidize the charity with the taxpayer's money.

Don't blame you. I don't either, unless they bring it up. I'm not shy and if they are offended they can take a hike. I believe around 95% of my clients are fiscally conservative.
