Why don't you like USMCA? You don't understand.
I think you are making a very big mistake. The USMCA was a replacement of the disaster NAFTA that shifted most of the automotive and manufacturing jobs to Mexico, Canada for cheap and unfair labor practice.
In NAFTA,eEconomic Policy Institute estimated a loss of 682,900 jobs.7 Other estimates estimate a loss of 500,000-750,000 U.S. jobs. Most were in the manufacturing industries in California, New York, Michigan, and Texas.
The cheap labor in Mexico and Canada induced US manufacturing to Mexico, resulting to lose of US jobs, and resulted to lowering wages for US workers to compete.
USMCA corrected that. Automotive jobs must stay in the US, and Mexico could not compete thru lower wages.
Advantages of USMCA:
Free Trade Agreements United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement Fact Sheets UNITED STATES–MEXICO–CANADA TRADE .Modernizing NAFTA into a 21st Century Trade Agreement
The United States, Mexico, and Canada have reached an agreement to modernize the 25-year-old NAFTA into a 21st century, high-standard agreement. The new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement USMCA will support mutually beneficial trade leading to freer markets, fairer trade, and robust economic growth in North America.
There many other benefits too long to list here.
