Slippery Slope

Any medical assisted suicide is a grave danger. We only need to go to Belgium and the Netherlands to see where this does and will lead. I do not want a child or any person to die in hopeless agony. But I want to let life remain sacred...as cruel as that can be to some. Sacredness of life has to be fundamental to our existence, no exceptions. Exceptions make it arbitrary. It is a brutal fact that certain deaths are horrific and the only way their terrible pain could be eased is with ordained death. Yes, not to do so seems wrong. Why? Their agonizing death appears inevitable. Let them suffer like that? Yes. The very basis of our civilization and government is the sanctity of life. It is the cohesion between Heaven and Earth, the seal of our purpose here.

But you are willing to watch children, babies die at near full-term. You might be the biggest hypocrite on OPP today. Pathetic!

In support of Slippery Slope, check history. The fall of every great civilization from Babylon to Rome to the Mayans, Aztecs, and Incas, to Egypt, to the Ottoman Empire was preceded by the loss of sanctity for life. The loss of morality is the first sign of decay.

I've never seen one in person but I have seen films of this being preformed and it is disgusting. But if
I were there I would get something in my hand an and commit a little mayhem.

Are you saying that if one doesn't see it happen, that it didn't happen? One doesn't have to put his head into a cesspool to know what is in it.

It must be so sad to feel so inadequate to have to bring one of your wingmen on a thread to support your threads! 🤦‍♀️

I agree with the others that this statement is hypocritical! How many times have you commented the exact opposite claiming that God was cruel!!! Do you think that we don’t remember what you post? 👿

Rumi, Not only is Life a Sacred Constitutional right. But, a Scandanavian country passed a Euthanasia law a couple of decades ago, it might have been DENMARK, I'm not sure. They insisted that they had safeguards in place to make sure it wasn't abused. After about 10 years someone checked it and found that almost 90% of the people who were killed under the act, it was NOT the patient who decided to have the patient killed, it was usually the relative who was stuck with caring for the patient! If someone would rather die than be a burden on their family, they can create a DNR or a Living will stating what treatments they DO NOT WANT! As far as abortion, there are NO UNWANTED CHILDREN! There are many couples who would LOVE TO ADOPT A NEWBORN
! Instead of killing the baby, give it up for adoption! Or, use birth control if you know that you don't want a baby!
