Anyone that was paying attention to statistics early on would understand what exponential growth is, and why something growing at exponential rates has to be shut down and slowed...the double growth part of the cycle has to be broken or 1000 deaths a day turns into 2000 in a certain number of days, and 4000 in the same cycle. We saw it in other states, and now we are seeing states that are run by people too ignorant to look at other states to see what they had to do to break the cycle. Arizona was in it and went to wearing masks and closing bars and broke the growth.

Senior citizen population is the answer to your question. Seniors move to states that are "friendlier" and offer a better life, mostly red states. CDC statistics prove the majority of deaths occur in this population. Therefore, a logical person would expect to see a larger percentage of deaths in states with larger populations of senior citizens, red states.

I don't see no dead people.

I don't believe all the people they say died of Covid did.

If masks work why don't we wear them during flu season?

What happened to the flu, BTW?

According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, COVID-19 is deadliest among older populations. In fact, through October 28, 92 percent of COVID-19 deaths nationwide have occurred among those ages 55 or older. Only 0.2 percent were younger than 25. This trend can also be found on the state level.

Point is, most people do not die the same day they are infected unless they are already in Cheyne-Stokes Respiration. Most are given treatment, prolonging death for weeks, if not months. Many of the "new" deaths are most likely old infections of elderly.

True. I was only addressing the question; why red states are being "hammered."
