There had been some indirect criticism but no one replied directly to lasher or ghost . Ironically I'm not jewish , but to some people anyone who favors present [and past ] US foreign policy toward Israel must be a Jew or Zionist . And of course the typical string of epithets that can be found on any neo-Nazi- or jew hating website .
One of you had warned me about engaging lasher , and I appreciate that , but people like lasher need to be confronted . I'm sure this website like any other depends on clicks to gauge and generate advertising revenue ,and for any newbie coming on would see more than just political arguments , but page after page of bigoted and racist comments accompanied by standard muslim and Nazi era caricature cartoon drawings of Jews .

Oh lasher will be back , but under another screen name possibly , but his anti-Semitic comments toned down .

Lu: you accused me of this very same thing. However prior to your arrival here, I verbally laid into lasher, during a brief absence of reason. I condemned him for words and told him what he was. I was reprimanded by admin, for my language and posts and pictures were taken down by admin. So before you go judging others, remember the regulars were dealing with lasher before you got here. Although you couldn't know this as some posts were removed.
You make assumptions without all the facts, and you know what happens when you "assume".... You make an (ass)out of (u) and (me). Word of advice, don't be that guy. I can't fault you though because you didn't have all the facts.

That's right , I did . Why ? Were you soooo proactive whilst lasher was splattering the threads with his cartoons and epithets ? Yea you took your one soft shot a lasher , then sheepishly bowed out .
On the other hand if what you say is true about what preceeded me , and I'm not inclined not to believe , then what could you have possibly said , that the Admin found reprehensible enough to remove whilst they left lashers DROPPINGS up on the threads ? While it IS true I've only been here a short time , I was in fact warned by another member in the midst of lasher's bigoted diatribes ,of lasher's tactics and the fact that others have been banned for use of language in responses to him .

-having said THAT , I would offer my apology to you based on that new found knowledge .

I simply expected a stronger response from members , not to support my views , but to condemn lasher's overt anti-Semitism . I did note a "recent " tendency of conservatives to attach left leaning views to jews which is a milder form of what lasher was indicating in his rants . And not to show favor to the Left , this is just as virulent on their blogs although using different sociological and geopolitical approaches , no doubt meant to demean the Right .

Just prior to your joining of the site, one entire thread was taken down and approximately 60% of another was removed due to the extreme racism and anti-Semite comments, personal slanderous innuendoes and so forth. No matter what attempt was made by members to "stay on topic", denigrating comments issued forth. Strong response from members on both sides of the political spectrum were attempted to stem the spewing; however, to no avail.

It's unfortunate that you think I'm a hypocrite for not lecturing Lasher, but he never directed his posts at me personally. If he had, I would have responded. I stand by my earlier statement about both of you keeping the insults flowing, complete with pictures of your weaponry and street directions.

It is not my business to be OPP's policeman, and I chose to ignore the poison-pen prose after it totally eclipsed the topic itself.
