When the 11th Circuit appeals court ruled on Sept. 11, that an estimated 774,000 Floridians who have already served their time in jail or prison are not eligible to vote in the 2020 election until they pay the fines and fees associated with their sentences", they should have anticipated that this might happen and written in a provision to disallow it! Dem's are REALLY sneaky and you have to be on constant vigilance to stay ahead of them!

They probably cannot go after the felons, but they SHOULD go after Bloomberg, but of course, that will never happen!

Why Republican's ever let a law like this stand is WRONG! Part of the punishment for a felony conviction is that they lose their future voting rights! Suppose to act as a deterrent to future crime! But Democrats like to go easy on criminals and have inappropriately watered-down a law of laws to the detriment of ALL CITIZENS!!!

The people of Florida voted to give convicted felons back the right to vote after they serve their time. The republicans were unhappy with the voters desires and rammed through the fine and cost law to undo the will of the voters. Bloomberg is simply seeing to it the people of Florida’s wishes are not ignored.

Who says they'll vote, or if they do, they'll vote for biden? I think it's significant that repubs believe that if everyone is allowed to vote...........................they can't win. Instead of trying to limit the numbers who vote, they should take a long hard look at themselves and ask why they can't win on their agenda/ideology/behavior.

Good for Bloomberg. The Republicans stripped away the voting rights of felons who had served their time and said all fines must be paid first. This was just another of the many Republican efforts to disenfranchise as many possible Democratic voters as possible. That effort exploded across the country after the SCOTUS gutted the Voting Rights Act.

It's also against the law, but I'm sure he'll get away with it .
The people he's paying the fines for are going to be mad at tax time.
It counts as income on their taxes.

Yes they can vote , but they can have to pay all fines before they vote and that's against the law !! It's called bribery.....

Bloomberg is not paying them to do anything. Some of these voters might even be Trump people. It’s faaar from bribery.
