But, but, but .... it didn't keep bo from nominating someone--Merrick Garland. He just didn't have a senate majority to get it done. If chuckie or reid had been in charge, they wouldn't have hesitated one second to get that nomination pushed through, so it was a no go. If President Trump nominates someone, it's up to the senate to go forth. And, given the stakes this time, they probably will. You know why?? Because they can!! That's the drum the democrats beat all the time. Remember reid eliminating the filibuster for judges? Because they "could"?? Remember bo signing an EO for DACA after stating himself multiple times it was unconstitutional? Because he "could"? I could go on, but you get the picture. They "can" so they "do." They are just accustomed to the republicans always backing down and not rocking the boat. They were never prepared for Trump stomping on their drum and throwing it back in their faces.
