Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's home district includes San Francisco. StarKist Tuna's Headquarters are in San Francisco, Pelosi's home district. StarKist is owned by Del Monte Foods and is a major contributor to Pelosi. StarKist is the major employer in American Samoa employing 75% of the Samoan work force. Paul Pelosi, Nancy's husband, owns $17 million dollars of StarKist stock. In January 2007 when the minimum wage was increased from $5.15 to $7.25, Pelosi had American Samoa exempted from the increase so Del Monte would not have to pay the higher wage. This would make Del Monte products less expensive than that of its competitors. Last week when the huge bailout bill was passed, Pelosi added an earmark to the final bill adding $33 million dollars for an "economic development credit in American Samoa. " Pelosi has called the Trump Administration "CORRUPT" and many other things!!!

I gave up on both Starkist and Chicken of the Sea over two decades ago because they're TOTAL RIP-OFFS! In fact, I'm surprised that anyone still buys them because they're mostly canned tuna-flavored water. When I was a kid, my mom could make four generously thick tuna sandwiches from a single can of tuna. When I was in college, I could make three tuna sandwiches from a can of tuna. When I was married, I could make two sandwiches. The last time that I bought Starkist and Chicken of the Sea, there was just enough tuna to cover the bottoms of the cans and the rest was water. I buy Polar or First Street brand from Smart & Final, a restaurant supply store which is also open to the public, but I'm going to keep an eye open for this particular brand, too. In fact, I'm going to call my brother and ask him about the availability of it in his neighborhood.

ImI'm curious how much Obama should have to pay in reparations.... I understand that his father was black, but an African who had no link to America or black slavery.... Whereas his mother was a white American...
Seems if we look at it objectively, Obama's black half is owed nothing, while his white half certainly needs to pay up....

Wicked Tuna show is about catching tuna with a pole. Granted, this can't be commercial tuna fishing, but these men are getting paid for their catches.
