The school board was totally out of line by not giving parents written notice on the book and a chance to opt out for their child.

I would like to know if it has been standard practice to have a policeman at these meetings or was it a set-up?

I have the entire article on what they don't tell you but it is a physical book and way too long for me to type into this format.

All these things have been going on for years and years. What is making the difference is that it is not undercover. People can finally admit what they've had to live in fear with (homosexuality); people have been cheating on their spouses forever. What you think has happened only since Obama has been in office is untrue. The young are doing their own revolution against the establishment. I really can't blame them because the establishment has believed that all "normal" actions are sinful and guilt producing. There was no sex education and children were told that the "stork" brought them. It is an explosion which always happens. The only difference is that now we have the media bringing the truth to all. It, like the pendulum, will eventually find its resting place.

In my youth it was still considered a shame on the family if a daughter became pregnant. They even tried to hide the truth. I definitely can recall how very many premature babies were born. People actually counted the months from the marriage to the birth of the child.

You, like many conservatives, or maybe just old people, simply can't accept change. Well, it's here as it always has been. You can't stop it! The only truism in this world is that change will occur.
