You're not alone Saltwind, I don't know what they see in Trump, other than themselves . I have a sister that is just like Trump, sad to say, and she worships him like a God . She doesn't like anyone with their own point of view, only talks down to people, racist, narcissistic, down right rude and mean !! Love her, but don't like her at all and refuse to be around her. If people like Trump keep getting elected to high gov't offices, this country is prime for a dictator take over (Putin) and we will lose our Democracy if this keeps up !!

And I have relatives who are so far left leaning, they nearly touch the ground. And no, they will listen to nothing but CNN and MSNBC. On the other hand, I have a husband who only watches Fox News, and if I can show him logically that something they said is illogical or incomplete, he will slowly and with great reluctance see it. So, your sister is as big a bonehead as my cousins, and worse than my husband. Neither place is the place where only one side or the other resides. I will be voting for Trump, at least so far, not because he is any great character, but because I cannot vote for Biden/Harris. Simple as that. Biden and Harris purport to be "moderate", and if that is what moderates in the Dem party are, then heaven help us if a radical should ever appear.
Being for killing babies at any stage, for confiscation of legally owned firearms, is not exactly in keeping with the founding fathers nor with a free society. No one in the Dem party has condemned the violence and horror going on in the large cities, but they sure like to blame Trump for the virus that originated in China, and was developed with help from the last administration. The lies, the deception, the accusations all are to be expected, but they have given no solutions, their only platform, that I could tell from the Convention -I did not watch it, but saw the excerpts and the fawning of MSNBC over the most disgusting people and their speeches.
Obama had the perfect opportunity to be a uniter, to call for an end to the destruction, but instead he, as usual, vilified Trump. No one in the 4 nights of convention offered any solutions-easy to talk from the cheap seats, huh? No one decried the murder of children, no one said anything about the accusations against Biden for sexual assault, that Harris had once said should be investigated and she believed. Apparently it is only worth calling out in the most vicious terms if it is a Republican that is accused, eh? Shades of Kavanaugh!
It is not so much what I see in Trump, as what I do not see in Biden and the Dems-or more accurately, the horror of what I do see in them.
