In Nov. 2019, 5 million virus infected people were transported from Wuhan to the US and around the world. The most number came to NYC, and big populated cities to infect more people.

Then China only reported to the US early Feb. 2020, when the virus was reported by Chinese doctors to be human to human transmission.

Most of the countries above started at the same time and with the exception of the US ended at about the same time. The US, of course, ended two weeks before they did and the result was another COVID spike that has resulted in a 1 thousand people plus dying everyday. You complain about the economy but the European economies are all on the mend and able to restart with little threat to the population. Not so with the US with the biggest threat to our schools. In Georgia, where schools have already reopened one district has 1,200 in quarantine, and another district has over 500 in quarantine, and so long as our children are required to go to school this pattern is going to repeat across the nation.

These mayors, as you call them, were trying to do what is right for their citizens and if we had followed their advice for the duration of the outbreak we would have been able to restart all aspects of our economy with little threat to our citizens. As is, because of so many obstanent people we will not be able to fully restart our economy until we have a vaccine that is at least 80% effective else we will just be spinning our wheels continually pushing the virus down the road...

What I find so ironic here is that Trump has been desperate to ignore the virus and if he had just paid attention and had taken it seriously we would likely be with the rest of the world with the death rate very low and cases approaching zero. But instead no other nation can compare to us in terms of cases and the deaths resulting thereof and instead of it almost being over it is going to go on and on until we have someone in charge who will take it seriously and mandate that all of us take it seriously--else it will just keep going on and on...

Europe fed New York, not China. China's contribution was to the West Coast and relatively light compared to the rest of the country. And Trump only prohibited people of Chinese descent--not Americans, so tens of thousands of people came into this country even though there was a lockdown.

And Trump is xenophobic as is the bulk of the Republican Party. That goes without saying so I am surprised you thought to even bring it up...

1)How do we know there wasn't political bias? Simply because something says what you want it to say doesn't mean there isn't political bias 2)Name any medical test for a virus that concludes by giving your probability of dying from the disease? Without knowing the date and the area(s) tested this test doesn't tell us very much.

And what is very low compared to other countries. If you are going to make such a statement you need to present the statistics of other countries compared to the US. As is, you are just asking us to take your word for it without any actual evidence presented.

All you've done is find a piece of garbage that spins the numbers the way you like. That doesn't mean it's not biased--that simply means that it meets YOUR bias and nothing more.

The long and short of it is how many people are contracting the virus and how many are dying from it. One thing that should be noted is that even though more people are contracting it, fewer people are dying from it. That's not because Trump is a wonderful president but because the experience our doctors and nurses have gained treating COVID has allowed them to reduce the mortality rate substantially.
