Biologically, a child (plural children) is a human being between the stages of birth and puberty, or between the developmental period of infancy and puberty. The legal definition of child generally refers to a minor, otherwise known as a person younger than the age of majority.
There is only one term to address this post, and I refuse to use it. Use your imagination.
But to address the issue, utter nonsense. You are using the usual leftist logic stream that 'the end justifies the means'. In this case, if it is admitted that the fetus is a child, then aborting it is murder, therefore we must find reasons to insist it is not a child. But it does not work that way. A fetus IS a living human being from the moment of conception. No, it is not complete, but then humans are ALWAYS in a state of change. That a fetus is a living person has long been shown to be true via science, and supporting evidence continues to accumulate, with little to no evidence that the fetus is NOT a living person. It is also simple, VERY simple, common sense. It is also Biblical.
And to address a different post, comparing abortion to a miscarriage is likewise nonsense. Every person dies eventually. Calling an abortion an 'induced miscarriage' is logically no different from shooting a man and calling it an 'induced death', so it is therefore the shooters 'right to choose'. Yes, miscarriages are awful, and happen frequently. That does not justify even one abortion. Leave it to God, or nature if you prefer, to judge whether a child is physically too defective to survive, resulting in a miscarriage.
And one last point. As the father of three girls, and the grandfather of three more, I have lived for almost 40 years with the fear of one of my angels being attacked and/or raped. It has been a constant worry, and I have taken extraordinary measures to protect them (many of which they deeply resented at the time). I know and understand the horror of incest and rape. But killing a preborn child will never erase what happened to the girl/lady. Requiring her to go through the unwanted pregnancy is horrible, but necessary. And it is probably no worse than asking the girl to live the rest of her life knowing she killed an innocent child. If the child is an unwanted reminder, adoption is always an option.
Currently, through a truly defective Supreme Court decision, abortion is legal. That truly is the American holocaust. It is wrong. It is immoral. It must end, in ALL cases, save one in my opinion. That is in the extremely rare case when the mother will die unless an abortion is performed. In all other cases, let the baby live!
