I don't know how good a memory you have, but I'll try to refresh your memory or enlighten you to a little history. In 2002, Minnesota congressman Paul Wellstone died in a tragic plane crash. He was an honest liberal, by that I mean he followed his beliefs even if they were not popular or he could have made more political gains by hiding them. I didn't agree with him, but I respected his passion. When they held the memorial, his family requested that President Bush not attend. The Democrats at the service turned it into a massive campaign rally. Their doing now with the John Lewis funeral is no surprise. The Democrats have a track record of turning solemn occasions into political rallies.

The first thing I thought of when this happened was the Paul Wellstone "Memorial." I didn't remember that Bush was asked to skip it but I'm not surprised. This was a real blast at Wellstone by making it a campaign rally. As I said earlier, if Trump would have come they would have really lambasted him for something. You can't win with the Democrats, as proven by their flip-flopping on issues that Trump supported after being for them previously. MAGA.
