Australia's figure skating champ Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya passes on yesterday age 20.
Very sad what can you say,
, wasn't born here but her partner was, I skated at Blacktown ice ring, western Sydney, never managed a salchow (sow-cow) but I could do a bunny hop, Harley Windsor couldn't find a partner in Australia so he hooked up with Ekaterina in Russia and she skated for Australia last I heard was Four Continents Figure Skating Championship in China 2018, should have won really, still I don't think it matters much.
Windsor is a indigenous Australian from western Sydney, wouldn't know it to look at him probably using a skin whitening lotion so as to blend in better with Ekaterina, don't know if he'll partner up again, hope so I think he is about 21.
But what can you say, "wish she didn't do that".
Nearly forgot, the both of them could sing too, amazing grace.

what was her cause of death? Never was that much of a figure skating fan, although my wife enjoys watching. Always a shame when a talented young person dies. People don't realize the athletic ability required to do figure skating.
Just looked her up on Google, she died in Moscow, but cause of death has not been disclosed. SAD

Suicide, jumped out of a window after learning her health conditions had caught up, she couldn't skate at that level any more.
She couldn'er got a motor bike or done gardening, but then I've never experienced what Ekaterina did, so I wouldn't know, thanks for the reply.

She looked better as a brunette, thanks for the photo, wonder why she went with Harley ? I think she trusted them but still I wonder why, Ekaterina could land consecutive trippe axels, only a few skater's have ever had a clean come downtown from a quad axle (4 spins in the air) has to be in a competition when the pressure's on , can't just fluke it, Alysa Liu the US skater age 14 was the latest to achieve it, a technicality to do with the competition itself made it not count, what a pity.
