As the destructive downward spiral of outright lies and mob rule continue, we’ve noticed a growing number of articles counseling that “we” need to stand up to this stupidity, that “we” need to fight back — that Mom, the angels, and apple pie are on our side if “we” would only just stir to action…… yada yada yada…… Uh huh. Kinda sparse advice on the details when it comes to what Joe Bagadonuts (that would be us) is supposed to do at the tactical level to operationalize the blithe strategic concept of "fighting back"


Well, by golly Uncle Sky, can’t we just jump in the SongBird and go carpet-bomb ‘em ‘er somethin? Uh, no.

OK, how ‘bout Jed & Granny jes settin’ on the porch, quietly spittin’ & whittlin’ with their shotguns at the ready should the mob arrive and the need arise. Ummmmm…. Passable plan with a mixed history of success (recall that the shotgun thing was Gropey’s sage advice), but that doesn’t take the fight to the enemy — and wars aren’t normally won by exclusively defending turf that you already hold. (See, Maginot Line. And, see the most recent plight of the McCloskeys in St. Louis, who did just that.)


This isn’t a passing fad. If the last four years haven’t convinced you already…. One thing after another after another after another has seen this morph from political espionage through Russia conspiracy tales and falsehoods through weaponizing the FBI and intelligence community through arresting and prosecuting members and associates of the Administration through an actual impeachment exercise through trying to calamitously tank the economy through letting mobs run rampant (while dissing the cops)…. and since they’ve thus far been unable to dislodge Donald Trump by abusing the apparatus of government…. Now we face the current situation where not only the president and members of his administration are being targeted for destruction, but ANYONE who supports or would be inclined to support him are also under attack — including canceling their access to public forums, causing them physical harm in the active war zones, along with the purposeful debasement and destruction of our American heritage thrown in for good measure.

We have mobs taking, sometimes being ceded, and at times holding territory, but generally roaming the streets virtually at will — vandalizing private property, injuring others, and despoiling/destroying remembrances of our shared national heritage. Oh, and unless you’re out there protesting and rioting, no large gatherings allowed for you and wear your virtue mask because obey or else — you selfish racist cretin. Politicians, academics, judges, and the media actively join in, pile on, and encourage this madness; and ANYONE who raises a finger or speaks out against it is instantly, at best, smeared as a white supremacist (regardless of skin tone), and all too often targeted for doxxing, canceling, and personal destruction in all ways imaginable. (As an aside, won’t it be fun when all the cops have finally all quit or been disbanded, leaving AntiFa and militias to police the streets?) They intend you to be afraid; and they intend that you WILL submit.

Ahem…. While carping that “No one is above the law” when it suits their purpose, clearly that aphorism does not apply to the Left. It is being demonstrating daily that there is no line they will not cross in their breathtaking arrogance (and lack of introspection). Things have already have gone way beyond the “resistance” and acting out the gospel of Saul Alinsky. Rather, much of what is taking place now is straight from Chairman Mao and the unconventional warfare playbook. Can you say “cultural revolution,” or perhaps just “revolution?” Hmmmmm….. professional provocateurs set up acts of mob violence aided by opportunists who are in it for the fun and the looting, while the sincere but clueless useful idiot protesters who are just there to act out their progressive temper tantrums are usually the ones who get to suck the teargas and eat rubber bullets from provoked security forces — all of which makes for great television (and recruiting) and is kind of the point (for now) — that is, to further inflame the whole situation.


Meanwhile, all the Democrats are out there daily imploring the mobs to stop what they’re doing and engage in reasoned debate and compromise — Ha! — They’re delighted to keep pouring gas on the fire and it is assuredly going to get worse as a matter of campaign policy if (as they think) it will help them secure a November win, and not in the least because it keeps attention off Gropey hiding in his basement while they spin the nation's entropy as being all Donald Trump’s fault. After all, Lenin advocated cultivating chaos, “The worse, the better.”

Obviously, the Left would rather reign in Hell than serve in Heaven, and are using the cudgel of racism to leverage and legitimize crime and division in their naked quest for power by promoting radical social change. From 1984: “The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power.”


But win or lose come November, the Drs. Frankenstein creating and cheering on this anarchy seem to think they can snap their fingers and put the genie back in the bottle at will. They have overlooked Clausewitz’s admonition to first “establish…the kind of war on which they are embarking; neither mistaking it for, nor trying to turn it into, something that is alien to its nature.” The passions being inflamed on both sides will not be simply switched off when one side scores a political goal come November. To be sure, there will be no signed treaties or smoking of peace pipes after the election; and the ability to govern at all levels will be exponentially more difficult. The Left first embarked on a war to remove President Donald Trump from office, and are now committing the mistake of trying to turn it into something much different — an open war for the soul of the nation. In so doing, they are seriously provoking a far more powerful enemy than just Donald Trump — us.

Given that there are people who make things happen, people who watch things happen, and people who wonder what happened, we submit that few in our circle are of the "wonder what happened” stripe. Accordingly, we humbly offer some thoughts on how “we,” as we are urgently being admonished to, might escape the thoroughly frustrating “watch things happen” mode and, within our capabilities as individuals, perhaps help make things happen in the struggle against all the nonsense:

1) Understand the nature of the fight. It is not one of right and wrong, though that's how the Left likes to disguise it. It is entirely about power, and their intent to ruthlessly run and ruin our lives. As General Michael Flynn recently noted, 2% of the passionate have set about to control 98% of the indifferent 100% of the time. So concede nothing; and stop trying to reason with people who insist that “reasonable" compromise and policy require nothing less than our unconditional surrender.


2) Stop letting them set the terms of engagement. We aren’t racists and this isn’t a racist country — far from it — and we don’t owe them assurances, explanations, excuses, or public penance to prove that point. They’ll just claim our denials are even more proof that we’re racist anyway, because of course we are. Recognize that racism is the chaff cloud they send up to fend off any attack and to derail honest debate. Don’t take the bait and switch over to engaging on that fruitless BS. Ignore it or tell 'em to piss off, call your original shot, and fire at will — because you will never hit what you don’t get around to shooting at.


3) Understand the enemy. They are trying to break our will. The media seeks to convince us that they are pervasive and overwhelming by giving them 24/7 coverage and endless spin. Don’t fall for it. It is pure psyops. Look around you. The actual number of shrieking and rioting left-tards is a but a rounding error in the national census, and they’re clustered in those urban areas unlikely to give them a real fight. It is not us who are surrounded; they are.


4) Impose our will wherever/whenever possible. This is our country they are trying to destroy. We again note how willing to compromise the other side isn’t. It is they who are making it a contest for all the marbles, and appeasement, as Churchill said, is only feeding an alligator in the hope of it eating you last.


Jerks like faux Republican Senators Mittens Romney (R-UT, who joined in the BLM protests), Ron Johnson (R-WI, who just introduced a bill to cancel Columbus Day), and their ilk, ever eager to show their bellies to the Left for some transient strokes and praise, are at least worthy of the same treatment that French collaborators got in 1944/45. They are morally flaccid suck-ups who have no place in a take-no-prisoners battle for the soul of the nation. They should be starved financially by donors and shown the door by voters come primary time. Others RINOs like them must get the same treatment.


5) When engaging the other side, mirror their manners; and give no quarter. We are not obliged to turn the other cheek to abusive snobbery — they already look upon us as ignorant rubes who must be ruled and disciplined, unworthy of engaging in debate with their superior intellect. Do we think for a minute that sparring politely against their vacuous bumper-sticker slogans while absorbing their condescending crap will either change their minds or have them think better of us? Rather, recall that when mud-wrestling with pigs, the pigs enjoy it. You cannot reason with the unreasonable, and insisting on making sense only constrains your arguments and views. Instead, Ju Jitsu Saint Alinsky on them and mock them and their ridiculous ideas just as they mock all of us for not sharing in their hallucinations.


For example, when arguing over whatever, when talked down to along the lines of “Well, you just don’t understand,” or some such…. (translated: I get it and you don’t because I’m smarter than you are.) An appropriate rejoinder would be along the lines of “Oh, I understand just fine but I disagree with you on it and choose not to treat like you’re stupid just because we disagree, even though you really are."

Orwell called the ability to hold and accept two diametrically opposed ideas at the same time doublethink; and the Left thrives on it (some call it hypocrisy). So we shouldn’t fear running up the bulls**t flag and calling things what they are; and when they persist, just advising them that arguing with morons is a complete waste of our time and end it, but never let them have the final say or let them walk away feeling smug. An abrasive response will make no difference whatsoever to the hard-core, KoolAid-saturated, true believers. But getting slapped around for a change just might give some of the superficial virtue-signalers and brainwashed useful idiots a moment of pause (here’s some facts and your condescension right back at ya) — a splash of reality outside of their insular, self-affirming echo chamber.

6) This is strategic — perhaps we should rethink the urgency of getting kids back in school this fall — we’re talking the public schools, which are a breeding ground for Leftist lunacy, such as the corrosive 1619 project. (Forget the common core math fiasco — and even before the 1619 hemlock came out, have you looked through a grade/high school history textbook recently?) Consider also how desperate the Left is to condemn every child in the country to public school indoctrination by their rabid opposition to school choice, private, charter, parochial, and home schooling, and their opposition to school vouchers that would provide less-well-off students with alternatives to P.S. Karl Marx.

We also note that while always whining for more money, the cost per public school child has steadily gone up while standardized test scores fall, and our relative place in the Western world’s education cosmos has steadily declined. But not throwing ever more money into that bottomless abyss is just heartless(!!); whereas there’s never enough time in a school day to focus more on reading and math rather than on mandated gender studies, graphic 1st grade sex education, white guilt, and other essentials that no public school curriculum can possibly do without. Uh Huh.

We think there’s an opening in all this Coved-19 foolishness to do a re-set when it comes to upending 40+ years of indoctrination via "the education establishment.” Privately funded K-12 schooling and distance learning removes pliable young minds from immersion in the marxist cesspool of campus groupthink and conformism that has overtaken our public schools and colleges. Being surrounded by and having to have conversations with proximate folks (e.g., relatives and neighbors) who aren’t already part of the hive mind would certainly broaden students’ exposure to differing viewpoints and demand intellectually defending the slogans being fed to them by those who are currently being paid largely to tell them what to think instead of how to think. And Someone needs to teach them civics, morals, and that our country’s First Principles are most emphatically NOT grounded in racism.
