Perhaps. I assume he was not tried yet since there is no record. Perhaps the prosecutors dropped the case. If that happened some record of why should exist. Our legal system leaves a lot to be desired.

Not to the task force. To Health and Human Services which the CDC falls under. The CDC has been having a lag of a week in reporting hospital data. A week can mean a big difference in decisions the task force has to make, or the role other agencies are obligated to perform. And earlier this week we find that the CDC cannot find weeks worth of hospital data which was submitted to them.

So HHS has a new system and database which the CDC, the task force, and other agencies will have access. When the raw data comes in, it will be immediately updated.

Not to mention, the term bypass is incorrect. Let me use an analogy. Suppose you offer some sort of youth after school program which is not a government program. Since I use to be a 4H leader, let me use that as the example. You want to have the information reach all the students in your local public school, and know a teacher who you've dealt with in the past. If the last time you gave that teacher the info to spread to the other teachers for their students, but this time the school asked you to give the info to the school administration for them to see every classroom and every student received the info; would you say the school administration had bypassed that teacher?
