Thanks to the far left infiltration and its consequent dominance over their party leadership, the Democrats have allowed themselves to commit to agendas that are even too far left for the moderates in their own base and way too far to port for the middle class in general.

They are so self deluded that they don't see how much more they alienate their party from the average American each time they go to a new extreme, and their own media continues deluding them by producing false favorable polls and other "data" that misguides them into believing they've got a chance to score big in November.
