I have been a Redskin fan for decades. The name "Redskin" is an ethnic slur, and insulting to native Americans, and sensitive others. I see nothing wrong with getting rid of this name. I saw nothing wrong with players kneeling during the national anthem, I see nothing wrong with doing away with confederate flags and/or statues. If Mississippi, and other southern states can haul down the stars and bars, Snyder can change the name of his football team. I kinda like the Washington Warriors.

So you see nothing wrong with destroying our history?

Nothing wrong with highly paid, and codled entertainers disrespecting and offending veterans?

Yet somehow a man should be forced to change the name of his company, because you find it offensive?

Solid logic...

If you find the name offensive, too bad. Get over it, don't watch if you feel that strongly about it. I myself will no longer watch the NBA, I find it offensive that they support a Marxist organization (BLM).

That's the great thing about freedom, and why we need to defend it, you get to make decisions for yourself. You shouldn't be allowed to make decisions for anyone else.

Hasn't anybody done the history of the REDSKINS? Evidently not.
Back when the skins were looking for a name their head coach was a SIOUX INDIAN. The owner decided on the name REDSKINS to honor their head coach. Don't take my word for it look it up. It's about time we start looking up history among other things too instead of being a bunch of angry idiots.

They would rather erase history than learn about it. This is because they don’t understand history they lack wisdom.

If they were to actually review history they would find that, back in November 1977, at a halftime show at a redskins cowboys game at RFK stadium, hundreds of Native Americans from 80 tribes participated in an All Indian Marching Band and Pageant. The event was sponsored by the Bureau of Indian Affairs. This action by Native American Indians contradicts the left’s argument that the term “redskins” is offensive

If the change of names was offensive to our Native American Indians, why would hundreds of American Indians have participated in a redskins cowboys halftime show.

America needs to back the Washington Redskins football team’s owner in retaining the current name and simply tell the left to kiss off!

The left doesn’t represent the Native American Indians in this cause because it is not really a cause, but rather a contrived position used to create a sense of racial bias and discrimination so they can get white and black protestors (not Indians) riled up and foster chaos.

The left has chosen create an issue from a non-issue in much the same way as they did on the cop brutality issue which led to the formation of the BLM movement, which in turn influenced change (defending of police) which resulted in even more chaos!

They used the weak kneed political leadership of the Democrat Mayors and Governors to cave to their demands. The demand to defund the police shows how the people must suffer the intended consequences of their leaders bad decisions, e.g., death of the city inhabitants including young children, destruction of businesses, and property loss!

More PC B/S. Less than 10% of the real Indian people care about the names on sport teams and want them changed.

Same can be said about the F.S.U. Seminoles.
And how about the Cleveland Browns? The dumbass left doesn't have brains enough to know that the name Browns comes from Paul Brown.

Here's another look at offensive names. Feel free to join in.
Giants: They're offensive to obese people.
Packers: They're offensive to queers. What if they were to move to Hershey PA.
Bills: They're offensive to people with a lot of debt.
USC TROJANS: Any opponent must be thankful that they at least practiced safe sex against them in order to win. (I'll admit that I should've come up with a better fit but you get the idea)
Like I said go ahead and jump in.

Exactly! It's the paddle that stirs the pot. The left could give a schiff about blacks or injuns. They stir them up to cause trouble.
Besides, none of leftist principles were wrought in black or Indian culture.
Marxism is white culture gone bad.

Any offense to The Seminoles by F.S.U. has been soundly rejected by history & the tribe itself which was involved in the founding of the university. The nickname was in honor of them!

So call it what it is! A Democrat left wing ploy to disrupt every institution, every historical event, every name. Our heritage pointed out bleak events that occurred over history.

Romans persecuted Christians. Perhaps Rome should send every Christian in the world a thousand dollar check for reparations.

The Democrats are the “PARTY OF STUPIDS!”

I think they should change the name of the Washington Redskins to the Washington Skinheads! That should satisfy the left wing liberals.

We should also demand the team shave all their hair off their heads except for the quarterback who gets to have a Mohican haircut!

Yep! The PC BS just gets more ludicrous by the month.

"Washington Skinheads!"
Was trying to come up with a new name.
That one works!

Dems would protest the 'Washington Blue Bonnets' also.

What would they do about the USC Trojans basketball team dribbling?
