I suspect a great many people ,are no longer thinking for theirselves. Social and mass media is so pervasive ,and well programmed that it effectively controls how people think .This Beast of technology that we feed every day is going to consume our ability to think for ourselves. It's not easy to notice ,but the subtle programming has been taking place for a while now .
I'm not a conspiracy theorist ,just a regular guy making observations . We need to get out from under what we are being told ,and start thinking for ourselves.

We need to start with taking all the computers (except when supervised) and personal cell phones from the children until the age of 18. They'd have to learn to talk and play outside with others. I'm sick of seeing children at the dinner table texting , texting, and texting. It is so rude. Mainly those messages consist of what are you doing, where are you. Duh! They need to learn to engage in conversation with the people they're dining with..

I agree. And studies show that the sooner a child is given a cell phone the more diminished is their vocabulary, not to mention spelling, punctuation, and grammer.

how would you feel if i called you a "troll"? Are you calling for a censorship on the OPP?
This Canuckus Deploracus called me a "troll" a several times with impunity, and nobody asked him about his motives for doing so.
That is just a one of a personal examples of "trolling".
There are also a favourite whipping boys like "Kevyn", "PeterS", "Wood,,," and who are never accused of "trolling", but cherished as brave opponents.
How do you sort this mess out? The answer in my mind is just a DNA deficiency and a lack of a good education.
