The US government has allways granted money for scientific studies. Thats how computers were developed the. Countlesss tecnologies have came just from the space program. The space program is what kept transisters in buisness and eventually led to the siliconchip.
I'll trust scientist any day before I would trust any bunch of corporate sons a bitches.
Apparently you are unfamiliar with the phrase, "
publish or perish, which is the mantra of
ALL academicians.

I don't believe that " Publish or perish "applies here at all. The energy industry and commercial interest business think tanks would like you to believe this kind of thing but there too many fields of science for some kind of conspiracy. Business has a lot more at stake here than the scientific community.

If it is a scientist at a university and they are either seeking tenure or have it, it still applies. I find the published articles are not from "too many fields". They all seem to be from the same three or four organizations or were funded by the same groups.

The fields of science range from drilling ice cores in Antartica to drilling mud cores in the bottom of lakes to measuring the level of Co2 in the atmosphere.
I sent you links, documenting facts. Factcheck is a resource, but would you not agree, two sources are better, three or four then you have to listen. I can support climate change, being not man made, with over 9000 scientist with PHD'S how can you argue against that?????
quote=Nickolai]Has the polar bear population increased since 1970 by five times. According to fact check .com it hasn't. not even the three times that former Alaska Sen, Ted Stevens cliamed. Some groups are growing some seem relative stable and some are unknown. As far as Petition Project is concerned it looks impresive but seems to be an updated version of the Oregon Petition which was created to persuade Americans to reject Kyoto. in I thiunk 1999 And the Oregon outfit was connected to Exonn Mobile. There a lot of problems with that site such as what Percent of those names on that list are Climitologists .5% at best. Do you go to your Podiatrist when you have a chest pain. Who would movivated to go to such lengths to put together such a web site. It would cost a few bucks and where do you suppose the bucks come from.[/quote]

I bet all the Wyoming physicians are waiting for more medical research before they advise their patients to give up smoking. Wyoming gifted the U.S. one homicidal mass murder, Dick Cheney. We don't need more mass murderers disguised as coal companies.
Kudos to President Obama and the EPA.
I'm not suggesting smoking is good for you, but it is just another product you use while you are sitting yourself to death, like salt and sugar. People that never smoked a day in their life die of lung cancer but some how that never gets figured in to the big picture.
Global warming has now become climate change, and after a very cold winter I would say they got that right, here in northern PA it snowed and stayed all winter, BUT, the climate has been changing since the beginning of time, it's called weather and no 2 years are exactly alike.
I do agree Cheney was the most dangerous vice president that this country has ever seen, but that clown is gone.
Obama? He is nothing more than a dictator, and the EPA needs to be put out of business.

Hawaii gifted the US one pathological liar, Barak Hussein Obama. We don't need more pathological liars disguised as Presidents.

The usual in snarky dishonesty: an immature, red-herring non-sequitur. You Leftists as always: predictable and unimaginative..
I think we need to check an see who's going to profit from this Global Warming Crisis. It seems that Obama and Valerie Jarrett has a few million invested in the CCX in Chicago, which is part of the CCX in Europe. I have no doubt that George Soros is going to make a lot of money off this also. I don't have the time or the experience to dig up this kind of information. I just hope some one out there does. f

The jury is still out on global warmI hoppeing, as well as the causes of climate changes, because there are just too many different factors to consider.
An activist group calling itself "Climate Parents" has sprung up in the country and has it's focus now on Wyoming, and they've pushed Wyoming's Board of Education to teach climate change and global warming as being established scientific fact to the kids. It's co-founder is Lisa Hoyos. Her bio on KeyWiki states, In the mid 1990s Lisa Hoyos served on the Board of Directors Oakland based Institute for Social and Economic Studies- sponsor of Cross Roads magazine, which sought to promote dialogue and building new alliances among progressives and leftists
and to bring diverse Marxist and socialist traditions to bear while exploring new strategies and directions for the progressive political movements.
As a result of the Marxist "Climate Parents" efforts, Wyoming lawmakers have blocked the state's board of education from adopting a science curriculum that regards man-made climate change as a fact.
Wyoming also happens to be the biggest coal producer in the U.S., and Obama wants to shut down all coal production. Well, why not start by teaching all the kids how awful and nasty coal is and getting it accepted in Wyoming that coal is the cause of global warming, even though no one really knows what causes it?
This is the first grass-roots stage of a push to turn the Wyoming citizenry against coal mining by the Marxist Obama regime.
The jury is still out on global warmI hoppeing, as... (

In any case it's heartening to see the Wyoming legislature standing-up to the Board of Education. Here in Cali. the teachers' unions /BOE along with the other (Leftist) gov't employee unions own the Legislature. "Global Warming" is presented as fact with zero critical-thought on the part of students permitted...
Leftists certainly are nasty and dishonest...
