"Vote by mail might sound good, until you look at the data. The federal election assistance commission keeps tabs. Their data show that 28 million ballots mailed since 2012 simply vanished. They were sent out, but never came back and were counted. Some say they are in landfills, others figure they are in file cabinets. The truth is, we do not know. All we know is that the mail ballots never accomplished what they were intended to accomplish.

It gets worse. Hundreds of thousands came back but had defects that prevented them from being counted. The voters who sent these ballots probably do not even know that their ballot was not counted after they sent it back.

Mail voting also destroys the transparency of our elections. Observers from each side are unable to watch the process. Mail ballots are uniquely vulnerable to fraud because they are voted behind closed doors where third parties regularly attempt to influence the process. Senior citizens already enjoy rights to request an absentee ballot in every state.

It surprises people to learn that in the middle of an Ebola epidemic in 2014, Liberia conducted an in-person national election. Ebola had a fatality rate of 46%, yet people still came into polling places and voted in person. The solutions were simple -- sanitization protocols, distancing, disinfectant on surfaces.

Putting the Presidency into the hands of the United States Postal Service would be a serious mistake. Some factions, however, do not care about mistakes. They care more about transforming an election system so they can transform a nation." https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/16117/vote-by-mail

On the money. When I go to vote, a couple of the workers at the polls are my neighbors that I have known for years and they won't let me vote without my ID. (Maybe I'll ask for theirs the next time we throw a cookout.) They take it seriously , which is a VERY good thing.

I never got to vote in the California Primary because I didn't receive my mail-in ballot in time. It came about a month later and it was mangled!

Agreed we do have a dilemma, most of the bonifide Conservative / Republican mail in ballots will be altered or lost, and the democrats ballots will survive and be counted. We are being overwhelmed by the deep state in cahoots with SOCTUS, Democrat House, many leftist Governors and Mayors. It’s there for us to see, and unless we have “help” many people will suffer due to this possible and likely election fraud.

Another method on how they will nullify our vote, cheating 202+, I’m sure they will find other nefarious way as they hatch ideas at night while in bed.

Does every person registered to vote actually vote? No, nor does everyone receiving a mail in ballot return them. In your theory, only people who vote should be registered to vote.........................but you won't know who they are...........................until after they vote.

Returned mail in ballots must also have copies of ID as well, and must match voter rolls. Every voter receiving a mail in ballot must have requested one, and each ballot has an unique code on it registered to that voter only. It is actually more difficult to cheat with mail voting, than voting in person.

Here's a hint:

I had to get a new and certified copy of my birth certificate to get the "realID" that is now required.......................and I did it online by emailing copies of the required documents. I got my new birth certificate in 5 days. If I can prove my identity sufficiently to obtain a federal ID, and/or a passport, doing it online and/or by mail..............................why is voting by mail so dangerous? Answer..................it isn't.

I don’t know how they would cheat by mail in ballots, but then I’m not the democrat criminal master mind, and the norm is to cheat at the polls, vote twice, vote often, .etc.

I've been voting by mail for the past three years due to the fact that I'm elderly and disabled. So far as I know, that's not a requirement in California. However, I had to replace my California ID because DMV put the wrong address on it. Fortunately, I don't have to pay for ID cards anymore because I'm over 65, but thanks for your advice. Since I'm moving to Nebraska sometime within a year, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to have that birth certificate anyway. It should be fairly easy to obtain because I was born in California and I now live in Sacramento. The only problem is I don't have access to a computer, now that the libraries are shut down. I call at least once a week, but there's no change yet. The only way that I can get online is with my Android and it's a Sprint Wiki which I got through California Lifeline, so you know that it's obsolete. However, it's possible that I can email the Voters Registration Office and ask what they would suggest, so once again, thank you. The internet is great, isn't it?

Perhaps you better up-date yourself. California and several other states are planning to mail a ballot to everyone on the voter registration rolls. Do you want to know how up to date they are?

Easier to commit fraud with the mail in ballot system.

Well as of 2019 California has been sending verification request to the voters about the eligibility of voting. So the rolls have been verified, so the accuracy should be be fairly accurate. About easier to commit fraud , the last election in cailfornia was a mail in ballot it got Garcia in the 25th district seat.
So the possibility of the mail in ballot seems not to benefit ether party.

I'm not so worried about the sanitation issue. The voter fraud is why I'm interested.

Not from California, normally the mail in ballots don't have a identifier on the outside. Based on the alignment of California in 2019 to the dems. For Garcia to get the majority he would have to get some dems to vote for him.Of course you will have to take account the lines of the district .
