Destroying history and the lessons we should learn from it--a rant with no links.
I've heard it denied that the Nazis killed Jews, that the Holocaust never happened.
Statues, writings, and technology rendered information leave a footprint for good or bad, it exists. When you destroy records or evidence of moments in history, you negate the lessons learned.
During the same period of history that we had slaves, we had small children working dawn to dusk in factories in the north, we had indentured servants with no rights, we had women and children who were the property of their husbands and fathers. Men could beat their wives and children, there was no recourse for those beaten. Men gave their daughters away to other men to settle a debt. A woman could be married to a man against her will, she had no recourse.
When you shut down a class of people from speaking, you degenerate their opinions and right to exist as God's children.
Today, we kill babies, even after they are born by neglecting them.
We kill disabled or seniors with laws for assisted suicide.
We call anyone who doesn't agree with us, racists, or x-phobic to shut them up.
We have those in mobs exercise mob rule, they shout people down who don't agree with us.
Mobs destroy businesses, property, and lives because we have the right to peacefully protest
We make laws turning law-abiding citizens into criminals because they are not "woke enough" to agree to the systematic destruction and undermining of the constitution.
We re-elect officials who refuse to do what is right for American citizens.
We promise money the country doesn't have to invaders of this country.
We promise free education, housing, health care, child care, and food to those who aren't citizens.
We refuse to help intact families and promote fatherless families.
Our seniors choose between food, medicine, and utilities, even as non-citizens are promised more per month than the seniors draw from their working histories on Medicare.
We keep electing politicians whose records show they are only in it for themselves, not American citizens.
We're paying people more to Not work than they will make at their day jobs.
Insanity abounds, we as a nation need to wake up. Nero fiddled while Rome burned. We are close to our expiration date--if you pay attention to history.

Two things, indentured servants had rights and usually written contracts. Several ancient libraries were burned down. Alexandria comes to mind. No telling, how much knowledge we lost from the past by destroying history.
Oh yes, indentured servants, they had rights, a change or two of clothing and a pair of shoes a year, a roof over their heads and food. They were not protected from beatings and assault, nothing said what type of roof or the amount of food or the type of punishment for not following the rules. Many of them couldn't read the documents that they signed. And lest I forget, convicts cleared Georgia's swamps because they were not as valuable as slaves, the convicts were expendable.
Most of what you say is true, the child labor was much early then the Nazis, like 1910 or even before.
Most of the problems are due to a lack of knowledge and that is due to our school system. for many years we
have not taught history or someone's modified version of history. I can ask my old neighbor's lots of questions and they do not know much about history, so this has been going on for a long time. Young people know we print money, lots of money, so what's the problem? If we need more money just print it. Most of the fools we elect to congress think the same way. And many in congress have failed at business and gone bankrupt. But we entrusted them to run the biggest economy in the world.
So, who are the fools here.....it is us, we the people. We keep voting them back, Mr. Biden has been in the government over 40 years, what has he done for America? He lives in a very big house, he never had a real job. He has millions in the bank, our money.
