I'm going to come out and say it the same thing thousands, probably millions of people in this country are feeling, at this point.

I don't care about black people's problems anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I care very much for the black people I known personally. I care about them as people, as much as whites, Asians, Latinos, and every other human being on earth.

But I no longer care about the special set of issues that many black people hold so near and dear, and that seems to define them as a group though thankfully, not as individuals.

I'm simply worn out with them. Exhausted by their constant demands, their neediness, their helplessness, their hypocrisy, their never-ending problems, their inability to take advantage of the myriad opportunities practically delivered to them, their ungratefulness, their refusal to take responsibility for their own lives or accept the consequences of their actions.

It is the younger blacks that is believing all of the crap put out by Sharpton, Jackson, and the professors in the universities. I worked in a steel mill in Gary, IN for 45 years.About 70% of the people I worked with were black. We ate lunch together, talked sports and politics, told jokes, and enjoyed each others company. We went to our kids weddings, graduations, and supported each other at funerals. Those days are gone - most older black people are still like that but the young ones are more and more hateful and violent. I'm afraid that the next few years will be a nightmare for our country.

I remember a story by Art Buchwald from about 50 years ago. A stereotypical militant black and a stereotypical KKK member ran into each other at a crowded cafeteria and ended up sitting together. They started talking and discovered their beliefs were very similar. Both believed the other race was the problem and the people shouldn't be mixing. It was quite humorous and demonstrated that the extremes on both sides had more in common with each other than with the mainstream public.

I believe that whites have been extending their hands for the past sixty years. Things were going rather well until Jomama was elected to be the first black President. His racist policies set us back a century.

That would be pretty stupid if they have any reading comprehension. He didn't say all blacks, just those who don't take responsibility, accountability for themselves.

================
President Trump is the only president who gave them he great opportunities to move up. The president identified, areas that could be corrected. Here he issued pardon to low level offenders and released them for job training with private companies. After 6 months they are given full time jobs. majority of them are blacks. That is why before the virus came out, blacks, Hispanics and women have the lowest unemployment since the history of this country. There are blacks that the president appointed to high positions. E.g. Surgeon General is black. HUD Sec. is Black.

Just because he was not innocent, did not mean he deserved to die

at the hand of a "protect and serve", 18 year veteran policeman who knelt on his neck until he was dead.

I have the utmost respect for the police, but that does not blind me, or them,

from the fact they have problems with dealing with the black population.

I do not think that a white guy would have had the same treatment over a fake $20 bill.

It wasn't because of the bill the call said he was hyped up and acting up the 20 yes holding down because of the drugs ok JUST not they way he did it and he was cuffed get him on his feet. No he shouldn't have died but his death wasnt worth all the other innocent people who died and all the damage

Correct. And the Intolerance that blacks now have for of any sort of candor has me looking for other places to live .

Obama's legacy of militant tribalism has me closing my business down. No more jobs for you. I'm tired of being critixcsed every time this one doesn't get promoted or that one doesn't like part of what other people said.

Grow UP people.

I grew up in Paterson, NJ. I experienced the same as you. But today Paterson is the ass hole of America.
Walking down most any street is taking your life in your hands today. I have no idea how to fix it now.
It may come down to bullets and blood to get fixed.
