All Facebook does and should have done for a long time is ban ads that are blatant lies or hate speech on their non government, private website. When you use any social media keep these things in mind. The first amendment keeps congress from banning or restricting free speech and freedom of the press, not private companies. You are not the customer in your relationship with social media you are the product, they collect scads of information about you and sell it to other companies who then put advertisements in front of your face. They are not public utilities and have no obligation to provide anyone a platform, if what anyone posts doesn't reflect their business plan or image they have every right in the world to remove it and ban you. You have one option, delete your account and encourage others to do the same. One more thing to think about, if the government wants to force you to surrender your social media, contacts and communication history they need you to agree or a warrant. Social media companies are free to hand law enforcement any of your information they ask for with or without warrants or even your knowledge. So anything you post is available wether or not your privacy settings are locked down, to any prosecutor or government agency that wants them. And if you are bright enough to use burner devices on public WiFi and connect through proxy servers you had better be smarter than the NSA, because doing that will simply draw attention to yourself.

I and my son got called out on Facebook.
The post was all these supposed bodies lined up in what looked liked great big trash bags.
I guess it was supposed to be Covid-19 deaths.
Then you see a girl carrying one with one hand, so it was obvious it isn't dead bodies.
Facebook said it was a lie.
